Scott Allan Wimmer is an American professional stock car racing driver. He has a total of six wins in the Xfinity Series. His brother Chris Wimmer competed in the Busch Series. Wimmer co-owns State Park Speedway in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Road bicycle racing is the cycle sport discipline of road cycling, held primarily on paved roads. He was a NASCAR driver with occasional appearances for the Virginia Lottery at Martinsville Speedway, Richmond International Raceway, and Bristol Motor Speedway; in 2019, he drove the No. 93 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for RSS Racing. He was also a pit reporter with Fox Sports 1 for Xfinity and NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series broadcasts.

The 2003 Tour de Georgia was the inaugural edition of what has now become the highest ranked bicycle road racing event in the United States. The six-stage race was held April 22 through April 27, 2003, with the overall title won by Chris Horner of the Saturn Cycling Team. American Fred Rodriguez claimed the points jersey for sprinters. Also, Horner won the King of the Mountains competition for climbers. Saul Raisin won the Best Young Rider competition.
The 2000 Giro d'Italia was the 83rd edition of the Giro. It began with a 4.6 km (3 mi) prologue that navigated through the Italian capital Rome. The race came to a close on June 4 with a mass-start stage that ended in the Italian city of Milan. Twenty teams entered the race that was won by the Italian Stefano Garzelli of the Mercatone Uno–Albacom team. Second and third were the Italian riders Francesco Casagrande and Gilberto Simoni.
Juan José Cobo Acebo is a retired Spanish professional road racing cyclist. He won the 2011 Vuelta a España as a Geox–TMC rider, his first and only major title but in July 2019 he was stripped of this title after being found guilty of doping by the UCI. He was considered a climber who also is able to time trial.

Antonio Maspes was an Italian world champion sprinter cyclist. Maspes was born and died in Milan. Maspes won seven professional world championship sprint titles between 1955 and 1964. He competed in the men's tandem event at the 1952 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal. Maspes also had a record five consecutive titles in the Grand Prix de Paris (1960-1964).
