Vinodini Sasimohan is the Chief Administrative Officer of Viswa Kala Kendra, Thiruvananthapuram, India. [1] She was a child artist in Malayalam cinema. Her role as Goddess Devi Kanya Kumari in the film Devi Kanyakumari was noteworthy. [2]

She is the last child of Guru Gopinath, the famous Indian classical dancer. [3] She is married to T. SasiMohan, a senior journalist and presently the Editor, Communications Department, Santhigiri Ashram. Viswa Kala Kendra is an art institution founded by Guru Gopinath to impart training in Kerala Natanam, Kathakali and Ottamthullal.

Vinodini, then popular as Baby Vinodini, acted in 17 Malayalam films in the 1960s with leading actors like Sathyan, Prem Nazir, Thikkurissy, Ambika, Miss Kumari, Ragini, Jose Prakash, Aranmula Ponnamma, K. R. Vijaya and others.

Kannum Karalum is a 1962 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan, produced by A. K. Balasubramaniam under the banner of Saravanabhava Pictures. Guru Chandrasekharan

Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra (SBKK) is an Indian cultural institution which runs a noted school for music, dance and performing arts in New Delhi. Sree Guruvayoorappan is a 1972 Indian Malayalam film, directed and produced by P. Subramaniam. The film stars Gemini Ganesan, Sharada, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair and Jose Prakash in the lead roles. The film had musical score by V. Dakshinamoorthy. The plot includes the origin story of Guruvayoor Temple. As soon as Dwarka went beneath the sea, Uddhava reached then shore as instructed by Lord Krishna prior to his demise. He with the help of Vayu got hold of the divine idol worshipped by Lord Krishna and his parents for all three Yugas. Kamaladalam is a 1992 Indian Malayalam-language musical drama film written by A. K. Lohithadas and directed by Sibi Malayil, starring Mohanlal, Murali, Vineeth, Nedumudi Venu, Thikkurissy Sukumaran Nair, Monisha, Parvathy Jayaram and Sukumari. The film was produced by Mohanlal through his company Pranavam Arts. The film features original songs composed by Raveendran and a background score by Johnson. This movie was inspired from Telugu classic Sagara Sangamam directed by K Viswanath with Kamal Haasan in lead role.

Guru Gopinath Nadana Gramam is located in a place called Vattiyoorkavu in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. The center was established in 1995 to impart training to young folks in different art forms such as Kerala Nadanam, classical music, light music. The institution is offering training for music enthusiasts in musical instruments such as tabla and veena as well. The institute is owned by the Department of Culture, Government of Kerala.
