Viper Niza Racing, formerly Niza Racing, is a Malaysian auto racing team based in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. The team currently competes in the TCR Asia Series [1] and Asian Le Mans Series.
The team will enter the 2015 TCR Asia Series season with Douglas Khoo driving a SEAT León Cup Racer. [2] [3]
Viper Niza Racing entered the LMP3 category of the Asian Le Mans Series with its Ligier JS P3 contender.
In the 4 Hours of Sepang 2020, Viper Niza Racing qualified in 15th place overall, 6th in its class out of 8 entrants. During the race, a mechanical problem with its prototype in the 2nd hour resulted in the vehicle being called back to the pits. As a result, it managed to finish in 19th place overall out of 23 entrants and last in its class. [4]

The Chevrolet Corvette C5-R is a grand touring racing car built by Pratt Miller and Chevrolet for competition in endurance racing. The car is based on the C5 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette sports car, yet is designed purely for motorsports use. It became one of the most successful cars in GT categories, with wins at the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, and 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as championships in the American Le Mans Series. The Corvette C5-Rs debuted in 1999 and continues to be raced to this day in vintage racing events, although the C5-R was effectively replaced by the Corvette C6.R in 2005.

Casper Gunvad Elgaard is a Danish auto racing driver. He has competed several times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 2001, as well as regular drives in the Le Mans Series. In 2008 he finished second in the LMP2 class of Le Mans for Team Essex in a Porsche RS Spyder. He also won his class at the 2008 1000 km of Monza. In 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans Elgaard won the LMP2 class in the Team Essex Porsche Spyder.

W Racing Team is a Belgian auto racing team founded in 2009 by engineer and former head of Volkswagen Motorsport René Verbist, racing driver Vincent Vosse, and entrepreneur Yves Weerts. Between 2010 and 2022 the team campaigned Audi R8 LMSs in several international sports car series. In 2010 the team won the Belcar Drivers' and Teams' Championships, while in 2011 they won the Spa 24 Hours. After winning multiple titles in various GT championships, WRT is considered to be one of the best teams worldwide in GT racing. In 2019 and 2020 WRT ran two Audi RS5 Turbo DTMs in the highly competitive DTM championship. In 2021 WRT added a full time LMP2 program, by entering an Oreca 07 in both the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series, and won the LMP2 class of the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans. From 2023 on WRT switched their partnership in GT racing from Audi to BMW and will run the BMW M4 GT3. The team will also run two factory backed BMW M Hybrid V8s in the FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar category from 2024.
The Buriram International Circuit is a motorsport race track in Buriram, Buriram Province, Thailand. The circuit was opened in October 2014. This is the first FIA Grade 1 and FIM Grade A circuit in Thailand.
Benjamin Edward Keating is an American racing driver and business owner operating out of Victoria, Texas. Keating is the owner of 28 car auto dealerships across Texas, The Keating Auto Group. Since starting auto racing in 2006, he has competed in many auto races worldwide, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, Twelve hours of Sebring, and most recently the World Endurance Championship. He is the only American driver to have won multiple World Championships. Keating began racing in 2006 after receiving a weekend track driving course as a Christmas present from his wife.

Luca Engstler is a German racing driver currently competing in the DTM. Like his father Franz Engstler he made his name in the touring car scene, winning the TCR Asia Series in 2018 and 2019 and taking the 2021 TCR title in Germany.
A TCR Touring Car is a touring car specification, first introduced in 2014 and is now employed by a multitude of series worldwide. All TCR Touring Cars are front-wheel drive cars based on 4 or 5 door production vehicles, and are powered by 1.75 to 2.0 litre turbocharged engines. While the bodyshell and suspension layout of the production vehicle is retained in a TCR car, and many models use a production gearbox, certain accommodations are made for the stresses of the racetrack including upgraded brakes and aerodynamics. Competition vehicles are subject to balance of performance (BoP) adjustments to ensure close racing between different vehicles.

The 2019–20 Asian Le Mans Series was the eighth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's Asian Le Mans Series. It is the fourth 24 Hours of Le Mans-based series created by the ACO, following the American Le Mans Series, the European Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship. The four-event season began at the Shanghai International Circuit on 24 November 2019 and ended at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram on 23 February 2020.
The 2020 TCR Malaysia Touring Car Championship was the second season of the TCR Malaysia Touring Car Championship. A three-round season will be held at Sepang International Circuit from 18 January to 1 March. Luca Engstler became the Drivers' champion with an equal number of points with Dan Lloyd, ahead of wins four to one.
