Virginia Yarur Ready (born 14 December 1966 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean Olympic dressage rider. She won a team bronze at the 2014 South American Games, and has competed at four Pan American Games (in 1995, 2011, 2015 and 2019). [1] She is based in Wellington, Florida. [2]
Yarur represented Chile during the 2020 Olympic Games after Bermuda did not fulfilled the qualification criteria, while Chile replaced Bermuda. The last time Chile was represented in dressage during the Olympic Games was in 1968. [3] She was ranked 46th in the individual competition during the Olympic Games.
Eva Maria "Evi" Pracht was a Canadian equestrian who competed in dressage in the 1984 Summer Olympics and was part of the bronze-medallist team at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
Isabell Werth is a German equestrian who has competed in dressage at seven Olympic Games —1992, 1996, 2000, 2008, 2016, 2020, 2024— winning the gold medal in the team event in all seven, and one gold and six silver medals in the individual event. She stands alone in having medals from seven Olympics, or across a span of 32 years; her 14 medals are the most for any German or equestrian. She also has numerous titles in the World and European Championships and World Cups.

Inessa Viktorovna Merkulova is a Russian Olympic dressage rider. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she placed 23rd in the individual competition aboard Trakehner Mister X. She went on to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo as well, during which she placed 12th in the team competition representing the Russian Olympic Committee, and 31st individually. Merkulova has also represented Russia at five World Equestrian Games, five European Dressage Championships, and seven World Cup Finals.
Bermuda competed at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from July 10 to 26, 2015. In April 2015, Carlos Lee was named as the chef de mission for the team.
Equestrian competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto were held from July 11 to 25 at the Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave. The cross-country portion of eventing took place at nearby Will O' Wind Farm, which is located in Mono. Due to naming rights the venue was known as the latter for the duration of the games. The competition was split into three disciplines, dressage, eventing and show jumping. Each discipline awarded a team and individual set of medals.
Tanya Karen Seymour is a South African dressage rider. She competed at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, where she placed 20th with the South African team in the team competition and 98th in the individual dressage competition.
Laura Graves is an American dressage rider. She represented the United States at the 2016 Summer Olympics where she won a bronze medal in the team dressage competition. After winning double silver medals at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon, NC, Laura became the first American dressage rider to be ranked No. 1 in FEI World rankings, aboard her longtime partner Verdades.
Bernadette Pujals is a Mexican Olympic dressage rider. Representing Mexico, she competed at two Summer Olympics. Her best Olympic result came at the 2008 Beijing Games, where she achieved 9th position in the individual dressage competition.
Adrienne Lyle is an American Olympic dressage rider. Representing the United States, she competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London where she finished 37th in the individual competition, and the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo where she was won a silver medal in the team competition. After qualifying for the individual Grand Prix Freestyle at the 2020 Olympics she withdrew from the competition out of concern for her horse, Salvino.
Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour is a Danish Olympic dressage horse rider. Representing Denmark, she competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro where she finished 13th in the individual and 6th in the team competition. At the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, she finished 4th in both the individual and team dressage events.
The 200 quota places for equestrian at the 2020 Summer Olympics were divided between the three disciplines. The 2020 Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Teams in each discipline consisted of three horse and rider pairs; any NOC that qualified a team also received 3 entries in the individual competition for that discipline. NOCs that did not qualify teams could earn one individual place in dressage and jumping, and up to two individual places in eventing, for a total of 15 entries in jumping and dressage and 20 for eventing. Teams qualify primarily through specific competitions, while individuals qualify through rankings. The host nation, Japan, automatically qualified a team in each discipline.

Laurence Roos is a Belgian dressage rider. She competed at the 2018 World Equestrian Games, at two European Dressage Championships, and competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, finishing 23rd individually and 10th with the Belgian team.
