Virtual Combat is a 1995 American film starring Don Wilson. [1]
The film was also known as Grid Runners.
Action Elite called it a "very 90’s yet still hugely enjoyable sci-fi actioner... Don Wilson rocks and I love seeing Loren Avedon as a villain; there are fight scenes every few minutes as well as nudity so really, what’s not to love?" [2]
The movie was one of several at the time that dealt with virtual reality. Flickering Myth author Tom Jolliffe wrote "It’s goofy, but it’s fun. Like the ream of similarly themed films of the era through the video market, the concept made it strangely compelling, particularly as for the most part, the VR backdrops looked exactly the same as the back street, cheap locations that the rest of the film had been shot in."
