Visible Noise is a defunct British independent record label that focuses exclusively on British bands. [1] best known for Lostprophets, Bullet For My Valentine, and Bring Me The Horizon.
Visible Noise, founded in 1998 by Julie Weir with the aim of promoting new British rock music and bringing it into the zeitgeist, [2] emerged as a significant player in the UK rock and heavy metal music scene, primarily focusing on promoting British bands. The label's inception was a strategic move to counter the dominant attention American bands [3] were receiving at the time, with a goal to bring UK rock music to the forefront. Visible Noise quickly became synonymous with the promotion of UK rock music, notably elevating bands like Bring Me the Horizon, Bullet for My Valentine, and Lostprophets to mainstream [4] success. This effort significantly contributed to putting UK rock music on the map and indicated the label's dedication to discovering and nurturing new talent. [5]
The label's roster included a variety of bands, reflecting its commitment to a diverse and dynamic UK rock scene. Notably, Bring Me the Horizon signed with Visible Noise in 2005, releasing their debut album "Count Your Blessings" in 2006, which played a pivotal role in their rise to prominence in the UK rock music scene. Bullet for My Valentine, a Welsh heavy metal band, also found success after signing with Visible Noise in 2004. Lostprophets, another Welsh alternative rock band, had a significant stint with the label, starting in 1999, until their disbandment in 2013. Visible Noise was responsible for releasing several successful albums for these bands, which greatly contributed to their growth and popularity. [6] [7]

The label's official website and social media pages, such as Facebook, appear to be offline, and there have been no recent updates on its YouTube channel or announcements of new music releases. My Bloody Valentine are an Irish-English alternative rock band formed in Dublin in 1983 and consisting since 1987 of founding members Kevin Shields and Colm Ó Cíosóig, with Bilinda Butcher and Debbie Googe (bass). Often cited as a pioneering act in the shoegaze genre, their sound is characterized by dissonant guitar textures, androgynous vocals, and unorthodox production techniques.
Lostprophets were a Welsh rock band from Pontypridd, formed in 1997 by singer Ian Watkins and guitarist Lee Gaze. The group was founded after their former band Fleshbind broke up. They later recruited Mike Lewis on guitars, Stuart Richardson on bass and Mike Chiplin on drums.
Start Something is the second studio album by the Welsh rock band Lostprophets, released on 2 February 2004 through Visible Noise in the United Kingdom and South Korea. The album was released internationally on 5 February 2004 through Columbia. The band began work on the album in 2003 after touring for support of their previous album, The Fake Sound of Progress. This is the second and last album featuring the original drummer Mike Chiplin.

Bullet for My Valentine, often abbreviated as BFMV, are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998. The band is currently composed of Matthew Tuck, Michael Paget, Jason Bowld (drums) and Jamie Mathias. Former members include Michael Thomas, Jason James and Nick Crandle; the latter were on bass. They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John and started their music career by covering songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John recorded six songs which were not released; two of these tracks were reworked later in their career as Bullet for My Valentine. A change of style from that of Jeff Killed John led the band to change their name. In 2002, the band secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG. The band has stated that their music is influenced by classic metal acts such as Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer. The band is part of the Cardiff music scene.
"All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)" is a song produced by the Welsh heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine. The song was released as the third single from the band's debut album The Poison, through Sony BMG on 3 February 2006 in Europe and released in United Kingdom through Visible Noise on 7 February 2006. The band originally recorded the song on their 2003 Jeff Killed John EP. It is their highest-charting single in the UK, peaking at number 29. It is arguably the softest song on The Poison due to its use of an acoustic guitar and minimal screaming.
Count Your Blessings is the debut studio album by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. Recorded at DEP International Studios in Birmingham with producer Dan Sprigg, it was originally released in the United Kingdom on 30 October 2006 by Visible Noise. The album was later issued by Earache Records in the United States on 14 August 2007. Count Your Blessings was supported by the release of music videos for two of the album's tracks: "Pray for Plagues" on 4 June 2007 and "For Stevie Wonder's Eyes Only (Braille)" on 6 March 2008.

This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For is the first EP by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. It was released on 25 September 2004, through Thirty Days of Night Records in Australia and on 30 January 2005, through Visible Noise Records in the UK. Sempiternal is the fourth studio album by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. It was released on 1 April 2013 worldwide through RCA Records, a subsidiary label of Sony Music, and 2 April 2013 in the United States and Canada through Epitaph Records. It is the first album to feature former Worship keyboardist Jordan Fish and the first with guitarist Lee Malia playing both lead and rhythm components.
Venom is the fifth studio album by Welsh heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine. The album was released on 14 August 2015 via RCA Records, their second and last album under the label. It is the first album by the band since the departure of bassist Jason "Jay" James, which was announced in February 2015 while the band was recording the album. Jamie Mathias was announced as his replacement on 18 May 2015, along with the album's title, release date and release of the album's first single, "No Way Out". This would also be the final album with founding drummer Michael "Moose" Thomas who parted ways with the band officially in 2017.
