Visprint, Inc. was a Philippine publishing company engaged in the publication of local literature such as novels, comics and graphic novels. Notable works published under Visprint include Bob Ong's ABNKKBSNPLAko?!, [1] Carlo Vergara's Zsazsa Zaturnnah, Budgette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo's Trese, and other works by Eliza Victoria, Mervin Malonzo, and Manix Abrera.

The company was named Publisher of the Year at the 34th Philippine National Book Awards in 2015, and won four National Book Awards that year. [2] [3]

In January 2019, the company announced that it planned to close in 2021. [1]

<i>Zsazsa Zaturnnah</i> Comics character

Zsazsa Zaturnnah is a fictional comic book superheroine created by Filipino illustrator and graphic designer Carlo Vergara. The character first appeared in the Filipino graphic novel, Ang Kagila-gilalas na Pakikipagsapalaran ni Zsazsa Zaturnnah, originally a self-published work in December 2002 consisting of two parts. It was later distributed and merged in a single volume by Visprint Inc.. The graphic novel won a National Book Award in 2003 given by the Manila Critics Circle. It was the 12th bestselling fiction book among Philippine publications in 2005 based on the records of National Book Store.

<i>Macarthur</i> (novel)

Macarthur or the Red Book is a 2007 novel by Filipino author Bob Ong. It is the sixth published work from Ong. As with all Bob Ong's published novels, it is notable for its use of contemporary street Filipino words. It is also notable for its departure from the usual Bob Ong formula of using humor to comment on the various ironies of Filipino culture. Instead, it offers a gritty, realistic look at life in a Philippine slum community.

<i>ABNKKBSNPLAko?!</i> Book by Bob Ong

ABNKKBSNPLAko?! is a 2001 autobiography by Filipino author Bob Ong — his first and most popular work. The title is meant to be read phonetically as "Aba, nakakabasa na pala ako?!", which can be roughly translated as "Wow, I can actually read now?!" The novel details what are supposedly the childhood memories of the author, from his earliest days as a student until his first few years at work.

<i>Stainless Longganisa</i>

Stainless Longganisa is a semi-autobiographical book written by Bob Ong, his fifth published work. Released in December 2005 by Visprint, it follows the style used in Bob Ong's first three publications: the use of contemporary Filipino language to express the author's views on Filipino culture. Unlike the first three books, however, it mainly deals with literature. According to the blurb, it focuses on [translated from the vernacular]: " ... stories by leaking pens about the importance of reading, reaching your dreams and the correct way of writing." As of 2011, Stainless Longganisa is currently his latest book written in a semi-autobiographical style.

Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan is a 2010 mystery novel by Filipino writer Bob Ong published in 2010 by Visprint Inc. It is Ong's eighth book, and his first attempt in the horror/suspense genre.

<i>Trese</i> Filipino komiks

Trese is a Filipino komik series written by Budjette Tan and illustrated by Kajo Baldisimo. It tells the story of Alexandra Trese, a detective who deals with crimes of supernatural origin. Its first issue was published in October 22, 2005, starting off as a niche work which grew in popularity as readers were intrigued first by the first two volumes' focus on Manila's urban legends, and then by the later volumes' development of Alexandra Trese as a character. Willie Tan Ong is a Filipino cardiologist, media personality and aspiring politician who rose to prominence for giving medical advice through his Facebook page with large following and his YouTube channel. Ong was also a candidate for the 2019 Philippine Senate election, largely capitalizing on his social media following. He was a candidate for vice president in the 2022 Philippine presidential election as the running mate of Manila mayor Isko Moreno.
