Vitruvian Park is a multi-family, retail and commercial development in Addison, Texas.[1] The development is just west of the Dallas North Tollway, approximately one mile north of I-635/LBJ Freeway between Midway Road and Marsh Lane in Addison's southwest quadrant. Adjacent to the community are Brookhaven Country Club, Brookhaven College, Greenhill School, Parish Episcopal School, and a shopping center. In addition to being the largest development ever undertaken by major real estate developer UDR, Inc., the 117-acre (0.47km2) development is also Addison's first major sustainable green initiative.[3]

The park draws its design from Roman architect Vitruvius' only surviving work, De Architectura. Savoye, the first phase was designed to feature 744 multifamily housing units, 26,000 square feet (2,400m2) of retail[4] and a 12-acre (49,000m2) public park including a spring-fed creek, bridges and trails.[2]
In December 2012, the City of Addison debuted the Vitruvian Lights: Magical Nights of Lights, in which the park was decorated with 1.2 million light bulbs in nine different colors on more than 500 trees. It subsequently became an annual event.[5][6] The park hosted its second "Vitruvian Lights" in 2013.[7][8]

Vickery is an ethnically-diverse neighborhood consisting almost exclusively of apartment complexes in Northeast Dallas, Texas, United States. The Midtown Improvement District states the neighborhood is bounded by Northwest Highway, Royal Lane, Central Expressway, and Abrams. The City of Dallas Office of Economic Development states that the boundaries of the Vickery Meadow Tax Increment Financing district, which was established in 2005, are “the east side of the intersection of US 75 and Park Lane and extends eastward along Park Lane to the ‘Five Points’ intersection at Park Lane, Fair Oaks Avenue and Ridgecrest Road.” Leslie Minora of the Dallas Observer described it as "a dense swath of about 100 apartment complexes cradled by NorthPark Center and Whole Foods to the west and Half Price books [sic] to the south. It's an overlooked anthill, population 25,000, packed with people here by circumstance."
Prestonwood Town Center was a two-level enclosed shopping mall located at the northeast corner of Belt Line Road and Montfort Drive in Dallas, Texas that opened in 1979 and was demolished in 2004. The mall contained a central ice rink. Prestonwood Town Center was replaced by a 62-acre (250,000 m2) retail shopping center of the same name that opened in 2006. The new center includes Barnes & Noble, DSW, Michaels, Office Depot, Petco, Ulta Beauty, and Walmart as well as various restaurants and services.
Valley View Center is a former mall located at Interstate 635 and Preston Road in north Dallas, Texas, U.S. It is owned and managed by Dallas-based Beck Ventures. The mall was formerly home to anchor stores that were once JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, and Dillard's. The demolition of the mall was completed in May 2023.

The Shops at Park Lane is an upscale shopping center in Dallas, Texas, United States, just across from NorthPark Center. It is the shopping part of the Park Lane Development located at 8080 Park Lane, which includes The Heights, an apartment complex, and a set of office buildings. This mixed-use development was designed by TBG Partners, a landscape architecture firm in Austin, Texas, and developed by developer Harvest Partners of Dallas.
