Summerfest is an annual music festival held in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. First held in 1968, Summerfest is located at Henry Maier Festival Park, adjacent to Lake Michigan and Milwaukee's Third Ward business district. Violent Femmes are an American folk punk band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The band consists of founding members Gordon Gano and Brian Ritchie, joined by multi-instrumentalist Blaise Garza, and drummer John Sparrow. Former members of the band include drummers Victor DeLorenzo, Guy Hoffman (1993–2002), and Brian Viglione (2013–2016). Violent Femmes are considered to be an integral part of the then-underground folk punk and alternative rock scenes of the 1980s, and remain influential or inspirational to the subsequent movements, particularly on folk rock, indie rock, grunge, pop punk, emo, and the late 1980s and 1990s alternative rock scene.

It is the largest university in the Milwaukee metropolitan area and one of the two doctorate-granting research universities of the University of Wisconsin System. Mayfair Mall is a shopping mall located on Mayfair Road between North Avenue and Center Street in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, United States. It serves the Greater Milwaukee area, also Wisconsin's premier shopping Center and Largest Mall in Wisconsin with 161 stores. Mayfair Shopping Center was constructed from 1956 and completed in 1959 by the Hunzinger Construction Company. It has been expanded several times since it was first built.
The Valley Fair Shopping Center, Valley Fair Mall, or Valley Fair Center was a shopping mall in Appleton, in the U.S. state of Wisconsin that opened on March 10, 1955. This enclosed mall was the first weather-protected one to ever be built within the United States, and was the first to ever open. Demolition of parts of the shopping center began on August 8, 2007.

Pabst Farms is a 1,500-acre (6.1 km2) development on former farmland in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, about 35 miles (56 km) west of Milwaukee. The location currently hosts the YMCA, multiple super markets such as Metro Market, restaurants and hotels. The planned development will include thousands of homes and significant office space, as well as a small amount of parkland. In 2021 construction started on Wisconsin Brewing Company Park, the home to the Lake Country DockHounds.

The Associated Bank River Center is a 28-story, 426-foot-tall (130 m) postmodern high-rise building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The building, originally named the Milwaukee Center, was completed in 1988, during a small building boom in Milwaukee that also included 100 East Wisconsin. Until 100 East was completed, the Milwaukee Center was the second tallest building in Milwaukee. The peaked tower, red brick, and the use of green near the top pay homage to the style of the Milwaukee City Hall. The building is primarily used for offices, but has parking as well.

Shank Hall is a music venue with a 300-person capacity located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. It began as a garage in c.1930 to store and repair motor vehicles, and in the 1940s the building was a record distribution center. Later, it became a concert venue called The Barn, and in the 1970s, it was called Teddy's. In 1989, it became Shank Hall and was named after a fictional club in the movie This Is Spinal Tap.
