Vivek Agrawal is a film producer known for producing the National Award-winning English feature film Land Gold Women (2011). [1] His other production credits include Queen (2014), Bombay Velvet (2015), UdtaPunjab (2016), Super 30 (2019), 83 (2021), The Girl On the Train (2021), and Vikram Vedha (2022). Agrawal also produced the critically acclaimed Netflix Original series Sacred Games (2017), overseeing all eight episodes of Season 1, which is Netflix's first Indian Original show. Additionally, he has written and directed the Hindi feature film I See You , starring Arjun Rampal.

Background

With over 28 years of experience in translating scripts to screen, Vivek has developed extensive expertise in both the business and artistry of cinema.

Vivek headed Phantom Films from 2011 to 2019 and later led the production at Reliance Entertainment. During this time, he developed, oversaw, and produced over 30 feature films and web shows. Vivek established standards and procedures to ensure cost-effective production by lean and efficient teams, which was instrumental in the company's optimal scaling and growth.

Vivek is dedicated to acquiring extensive technical and creative knowledge, enabling him to effectively address issues throughout the filmmaking process. His background as a director contributes to his reputation as an empathetic producer, known for executing complex projects within budget and on schedule. Organized and detail-oriented, Vivek's tenure with Phantom Films and Reliance Entertainment has also provided him with expertise in corporate governance, intellectual property law, and talent contracting.

He has produced films of varying scales, both independent and commercial, in various parts of the world. As an independent producer, he has developed the ability to build efficient teams by bringing together individuals with diverse skills, implementing processes and policies as needed, and executing each project seamlessly.

Born and educated in Mumbai, Vivek holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance management. He left a master's program in economics and finance to pursue his passion for filmmaking.

His expertise lies in assembling new teams for each project and successfully producing films in various locations worldwide. With a technical background, education in finance, and experience in managing films with budgets ranging from 2 crore to 200 crore, he is a reliable choice for studios and investors seeking to undertake challenging film projects.

Land Gold Women

The film was released in India in conjunction with the Movement to End Honour Violence. Both the film and the movement were initiated by A Richer Lens, [2] a company managed by Vivek Agrawal and his wife Avantika Hari Agrawal, who is the writer and director. Vivek serves as the CEO of the company, which has offices in Mumbai, Dubai, and London.

3. Best Script/Screenplay (Avantika Hari) at the Asian Festival of First Films (2009).

After premiering in the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of Goa in 2009, which features 26 of the best films made by Indians each year, Land Gold Women received numerous nominations at various international film festivals. The film's soundtrack was nominated for an award at the East End Film Festival in 2010. Additionally, the film was nominated for Best UK Feature for Avantika Hari Agrawal at the same festival.

Vivek Agrawal and Avantika Hari Agrawal married in 2009 after successfully completing Land Gold Women.
