Vol.2 is a compilation album by American rock band Goo Goo Dolls, serving as the second volume to Greatest Hits Volume One: The Singles . It consists of two discs: one, a CD with previously unreleased tracks, b-sides, rarities, new covers, fan favorites and live performances; the other, a DVD with 23 music videos and videos from live performances. A limited edition of the album with the entire Red Rocks concert on the DVD is available on the Goo Goo Dolls website.

The 20 is a weekly music video countdown television show that aired on the VH1 cable television network in the United States. The long-running show was first introduced in 1994 as VH1 Top 10 Countdown, part of VH1's "Music First" re-branding effort. Over the years, a variety of hosts counted down the top 10 or 20 music videos of the week. The order of countdown was initially decided by a mix of record sales, radio airplay, video spins, message board posts, and conventional mail. The final episode aired unexpectedly without fanfare on November 28, 2015.

"Long Way Down" is the fifth single by the Goo Goo Dolls from their 1995 breakthrough album, A Boy Named Goo. The song is often overshadowed by the low-key ballad "Name", which launched the band to household names. Although it wasn't as successful as the chart-topping success of "Name" on the rock and pop charts, "Long Way Down" reached No. 7 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and No. 25 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. It didn't make it to Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 chart, although it did reach a peak of #49 on the Radio & Records pop chart for one week on July 26, 1996 before falling off the following week. HitClips is a digital audio player created by Tiger Electronics that plays low-fidelity mono one-minute clips of usually teen pop hits from exchangeable cartridges. It first launched in August 2000 with 60-second microchip songs featuring Britney Spears, NSYNC, and Sugar Ray. The following year songs by Destiny's Child, Backstreet Boys, Dream, and Pink were additionally released. There is a version for young children called KidClips. Tiger Electronics had licensing agreements for HitClips with popular major record labels including Atlantic Records, Jive Records/Zomba Label Group, and Capitol Records.
