This page presents the results of the Men's Volleyball Tournament at the 1998 Asian Games, which was held from Monday December 7 to Tuesday December 15, 1998 in Bangkok, Thailand. The men's volleyball event was contested for the eleventh time at the Asian Games.
Iran participated in the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China on 12–27 November 2010.
Thailand participated in the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China between 12–27 November 2010. The National Olympic Committee of Thailand sent 593 athletes to Guangzhou, and competed in 39 out of 42 sports. Thailand ended the games at 52 overall medals including 11 gold medals. These games witnessed first ever gold medals in Taekwondo.
Volleyball at the 2010 Asian Games was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China from November 13 to 27, 2010. In this tournament, 18 teams played in the men's competition, and 11 teams participated in the women's competition. All matches were played at the Guangwai Gymnasium, the Guangyao Gymnasium and the Zhongda Gymnasium.
The volleyball tournaments at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were played between 24 July and 8 August 2021. 24 volleyball teams and 48 beach volleyball teams participated in the tournament. The indoor volleyball competition took place at Ariake Arena in Ariake, and the beach volleyball tournament at Shiokaze Park, in the temporary Shiokaze Park Stadium.

Chinese Taipei competed at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, from 18 August to 2 September 2018. At the last Games in Incheon, the country bagged a total 51 medals, including 10 gold, 18 silver, and 23 bronze. This time, Chinese Taipei is set to send a 738-strong team to compete in 36 of 40 sporting events, including 588 athletes.
