The 2015, was the 2º Torneo Federal A season since it became part of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The champion will be promoted to Primera B Nacional. 40 teams competed. The regular season began on March 20 and ended on December 10.

The tournament was held in Seoul, South Korea, from 18 to 25 August 2019. South Korea played host to this event for the first time. The top eight teams of this tournament qualified for the 2020 AVC Women's Volleyball Olympic Qualification Tournament.

The 2019 League of Legends World Championship was an esports tournament for the multiplayer online battle arena video game League of Legends. It was the ninth iteration of the League of Legends World Championship, an annual international tournament organized by the game's developer, Riot Games. It was held from October 2, 2019, to November 10, 2019, in Berlin, Madrid and Paris. Twenty four teams from 13 regions qualified for the tournament based on their placement in regional circuits such as those in China, Europe, North America, South Korea and Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau with twelve of those teams having to reach the main event via a play-in stage.
The UAAP Season 82 volleyball tournaments started on September 4, 2019 with the junior tournaments and on March 3, 2020 for the senior tournaments. The games were played at the Filoil Flying V Centre, Mall of Asia Arena, Smart Araneta Coliseum, PhilSports Arena and the Blue Eagle Gym. The volleyball tournament commissioner is Noreen Go.
The Men's Volleyball tournament at the 2019 Military World Games is held in Wuhan, China from 20 to 26 October.
The men's tournament competition of the beach volleyball events at the 2023 Pan American Games took place between 21 and 27 of October in Santiago, Chile at the Beach volleyball center, a temporary venue in Peñalolén cluster.
