Volodymyr Klynovskyi (born 22 March 1969) is a Ukrainian football coach who currently serves as the Club Head Coach for Toronto Fusion FC.
On April 17, 2008 Klynovskyi was appointed by North York Astros head coach Rafael Carbajal to serve as his assistant coach for the 2008 season. [1] In his first season, he helped the Astros set an all-time record for most points and wins in a season. [2] But unfortunately during their playoff run the Astros were eliminated by the Serbian White Eagles in the quarterfinal match, with the game ending 2-1 in favor of the White Eagles. [3] The following season he maintained his position as assistant coach, but this time serving under a new head coach Ugur Cimen. On June 29, 2009 Klynovskyi was upgraded to the head coach position when Cimen unexpectedly resigned from his coaching duties and returned to Turkey for personal reasons. His first match was a 4-1 defeat by Toronto Croatia. [4] Klynovskyi was placed in a difficult position due to the fact the Astros suffered four straight losses under Cimen, and at the same time conceded the most goals in the National Division at the time. Following the defeat to Toronto, Klynovskyi decided to make several new changes to boost up his roster of players in order to complete for a playoff spot. He released many of the new players signed by Cimen and brought up several players from the Reserve Division. In preparation for his goal Klynovskyi resolved to make new additional signings such as Adrian Pena, Sergio De Luca, Kurt Ramsey, Adrian Mancini and Gersi Xhuti.
After making several new changes to the line-up following the loss to Toronto Croatia, the Astros tied 2-2 against St. Catharines Wolves to achieve their first point of the season. [5] On July 20, 2009 Klynovskyi led the Astros to their first win of the season in 3-2 victory over Trois Rivieres Attak. [6] Unfortunately the Astros would continue to struggle with their goal of reaching the final playoff berth with many inconsistent matches. Klynovskyi was able to lead the Astros to a four-game unbeaten streak which meant that his squad was only three points away of TFC Academy who held the last playoff spot. The Astros next match was in Vaughan against the Italia Shooters where they needed a guaranteed win in order to surpass TFC in the standings. On September 14, 2009 in their decisive match against the Shooters the home side scored early in the 10' minute on a penalty kick; the Astros held in with a goal from Diego Maradona to tie the match, but unfortunately Italia scored a late winner to end the match with a 2-1 victory over the Astros. Thus eliminating the North York side from contention of reaching the post season. [7]
In 2010, Klynovskyi was appointed the Milltown FC Reserve team head coach and assistant coach to head coach Rafael Carbajal. On May 16, 2010 he temporarily stepped in for Head Coach Carbajal, while he was away with the Canada U-20 Coaching Staff. Klynovskyi led Milltown to a scoreless draw with the Montreal Impact Academy in the club's first match in club history. [8]

Volodymyr Klynovskyi was certified with The Football Association TheFA England, Ukrainian Football Federation FFU, Canadian Soccer Association CSA and Ontario Soccer Association OSA Canada and held a UEFA "PRO" Licence.

He was actively involved in Petroleum industry and worked for Shell, Imperial Oil ESSO, Petro-Canada, Walter Surface Technologies (Bio-Circle Division) as Project manager, Chief Engineer and Territory Manager.

The club was originally named North York Atletico Argentina Soccer Club, and witnessed instant success in its initial stages. After a merger with North York Talons, and a relocation to Scarborough the team was eventually renamed the North York Astros. The Astros were a founding member of the Canadian National Soccer League's successor league the Canadian Professional Soccer League in 1998.

The 2008 Canadian Soccer League season was the 11th since its establishment where a total of 16 teams from Ontario and Quebec took part in the league. The season began on May 16, 2008, and ended on October 26 with the Serbian White Eagles claiming their first championship by defeating Trois-Rivières Attak 2-1 in a penalty shootout. This was the third consecutive year the White Eagles had reached the CSL finals losing respectively to Italia Shooters in 2006, and to rivals Toronto Croatia in 2007. While during the regular season Italia won their second division title with Trois-Rivières becoming the first Quebec team to claim the National Division title.
The 2009 Canadian Soccer League season was the 12th since its establishment where a total of 17 teams from Ontario and Quebec took part in the league. The season began on May 15, 2008, and ended on October 24 where for the second straight season the Serbian White Eagles faced Trois-Rivières Attak at the CSL Championship. The Attak denied Serbia their championship title by defeating them 3-2 in a penalty shootout. The victory marked the organizations first championship title, and the return of the championship to Quebec since the 1978 season when Montreal Castors competed in the National Soccer League. Throughout the regular season both Serbia, and Trois-Rivieres won their respective divisions.

The season began on Saturday May 8, 2010, and ended on October 31. Brantford Galaxy SC won their first championship in their inaugural season with a 3–0 win over Hamilton Croatia in the CSL Championship Final at the Centennial Park Stadium in Toronto on October 31, 2010. The CSL administration restructured the league by combining both the International & National divisions to form the CSL First Division with a single table structure. The regular season title was claimed by the York Region Shooters, while the Serbian White Eagles Res. won their first reserve league championship.
Windsor City FC is a Canadian soccer team, based in Windsor, Ontario, that plays in League1 Ontario. The club was founded in 2004 and has previously competed in the Canadian Professional Soccer League (CPSL) and Canadian Soccer League (CSL). Throughout their tenure in the CPSL/CSL, Windsor won two Open Canada Cups, one American Indoor Soccer League (AISL) Championship, and maintained a status of regular playoff contender. The season began on 5 May 2012, and concluded on 27 October 2012. Toronto Croatia defended their championship in a 1–0 victory over the Montreal Impact Academy in the CSL Championship final at Centennial Park Stadium in Toronto. Montreal became the second Quebec club after Trois-Rivières Attak to reach the final, while Toronto added more silverware to their cabinet by winning the double during the regular season. In the Second Division SC Toronto B won their first Second Division championship, and TFC Academy II secured the regular season title.

Their postseason journey came to a conclusion in the second round after a defeat to the Montreal Impact Academy, while their reserve team shared a similar fate in the Second Division playoffs after a loss to Brampton City United B. The top goalscorers for the season were Jason De Thomasis, Aundrae Rollins, and for the record seventh consecutive time Kadian Lecky each with four goals.
