"Lijepa naša domovino" is the national anthem of Croatia. Often simply referred to as "Lijepa naša" in Croatia, it is a phrase widely used as a metonym for the country.

Bjelašnica is a mountain in central Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is to the southwest of Sarajevo, bordering Mount Igman. Bjelašnica's tallest peak, by which the mountain group got its name, rises to an elevation of 2,067 metres (6,781 ft). Other notable peaks are Krvavac, Mali Vlahinja, and Hranisava. The Bjelašnica range is bordered by the Rakitnica in the south, the Neretva in the west, Mount Igman in the north-east and Mount Ivan in the north-west. Only at 20 minutes distance of Sarajevo, it is a tourist attraction for hiking and skiing.
Treskavica is a mountain range in Bosnia and Herzegovina, situated in Trnovo municipality just south of city of Sarajevo. Mala Ćaba peak at 2088 m, which makes Treskavica the tallest of all the mountains circling Sarajevo, and only some 300 m shorter than the tallest mountain in the country. On clear days with good weather, climbers can see far into the distance, up to Montenegro and the Adriatic Sea.
The High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the Office of the High Representative (OHR) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, were created in 1995 immediately after the signing of the Dayton Agreement which ended the 1992–1995 Bosnian War. The purpose of the High Representative and the OHR is to oversee the civilian implementation of the Dayton agreement. They also serve to represent the countries involved in the implementation of the Dayton Agreement through the Peace Implementation Council (PIC), which chooses the High Representative.

While he started his career in 2003 by participating in Story Supernova Music Talents, he became even more famous in Croatia after winning the third season of Tvoje lice zvuči poznato, the Croatian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar. He specialized in the history of Islamic, Jewish, and Eastern philosophy. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge in 1979.
Azra Kolaković, known by her stage name Donna Ares, was a Bosnian singer, songwriter, writer and pianist. She is considered the most talented Bosnian artist who wrote both music and lyrics for her songs, and was also involved in graphic design. She released a total of 6 studio albums and a book about the fight against cancer. She died at age 40 following a three-year long battle with uterine cancer.
Bi-2 is a Belarusian alternative rock band, formed in 1988 in Bobruisk, Belarus. It was one of the most successful with many sales and chart-hits in Russia. Bi-2 was awarded MTV Russian Music Awards for Best Rock Act in 2007.
Lino Červar is a Croatian retired handball coach. In 2003 he guided Croatia men's national handball team to gold in the 2003 World Championship as well as to gold at the 2004 Olympics.
Prenj is a mountain range in the Dinaric Alps of southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in eastern Herzegovina near Mostar, Jablanica and Konjic. The highest peak is Zelena glava at 2,115 m (6,939 ft). Prenj massif has at least 11 peaks over 2000 m.
Lelija is a mountain range within the Sutjeska National Park, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has an altitude of 2,032 metres (6,667 ft). Geographically, it is part of the Dinaric Alps of southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, located south of Kalinovik, within the territory of the Republika Srpska. Geologically, the Lelija range is part of the Dinaric Alps and formed largely of secondary and tertiary sedimentary rock, mostly limestone and dolomite. Lelija is bordered by the Jezernica in the north, the Drina in the east, the Neretva in the west and Zelengora range in the south. Notable peaks are Velika Lelija, Todor, and Saikov Vrh
Moonlee Records is an independent record label established and run since 2004 by music enthusiasts from Ljubljana, Slovenia and Zagreb, Croatia, members of bands Analena and Lunar. Its official headquarters are located in Ljubljana with a branch office in Croatia. The name of the label is a wordplay, deriving from its central mascot, Mr. Moonlee, which is portrayed as a martial artist lemon.

Volujak is a mountain range on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Geologically, Volujak is a subrange of the Dinaric Alps and formed largely of secondary and tertiary sedimentary rock, mostly limestone and dolomite. It basically forms a long ridge on the southwest side of the Suhja valley, with the border between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro running alongside this ridge, where a sharp corner of BiH territory reaches into Montenegro. It is on the BiH side located within the Sutjeska National Park but has a protected status also on the Montenegrin side. Notable peaks are Volujak, Studenac, Badnjine and Trnovački Durmitor. Right at the northern foot of this last peak is the beautiful Trnovačko Lake situated. The Volujak range borders north-east on the Suhja valley and Maglić, on the south west side on the Izgori valley and the Lebršnik mountain group, in the north west by the Sutjeska (river) valley and on the south east side by the Bioč range. Volujak peak is the second highest elevation point in Bosnia Herzegovina. From its summit hikers obtain an impressive view of the surrounding peaks: Maglić, Veliko Vitao and, in the distance, Durmitor.
Jacques Houdek is a Croatian recording artist who represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "My Friend". Houdek began his professional solo career in 2000 and has since released many recordings and albums out which 13 have been certified silver, gold, platinum and diamond (once). Houdek is one of the mentors in the Croatian version of the TV talent show The Voice. During show's first season, he mentored the winner Nina Kraljić. Aside from Croatian, he has sung and recorded in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Slovene, Macedonian, and Māori language.
Nura Bazdulj-Hubijar is a Bosnian writer, poet and playwright. Born near Foča, she attended school and medical college in Sarajevo after which she moved to Travnik. In addition to her work in medical microbiology, she has published many novels, poems and plays. She also contributes to children's magazines. She received the VBZ Award 2005.
