The WTA Atlanta is a defunct WTA Tour affiliated tennis tournament played from 1975 to 1983. It was held in Atlanta in the United States and played on indoor carpet courts from 1975 to 1981 and outdoor hard courts from 1982 to 1983.

Cincinnati Masters American tennis tournament

The Cincinnati Masters is an annual outdoor hardcourt tennis event held in Mason near Cincinnati, Ohio. The event started on September 18, 1899, and is the oldest tennis tournament in the United States played in its original city. The tournament is the second largest summer tennis event in the U.S. after the US Open, as its men's event is one of the Masters 1000 tournaments on the ATP Tour and its women's event is one of the WTA 1000 events on the WTA Tour.

The Rosmalen Grass Court Championships, current sponsored name the Libéma Open, is a professional tennis tournament held in the town of Rosmalen, on the outskirts of the city of 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. The men's and women's tennis matches are played on outdoors grass courts at the Autotron convention center, and constitute a stage on the ATP Tour and the WTA Tour.

The Mexican Open is a joint professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts, and held annually in late February at the Arena GNP Seguros since 2022 and previously at the Fairmont Acapulco Princess, both in Acapulco, Mexico. The WTA Austrian Open is a WTA Tour affiliated women's tennis tournament held off and on from 1968. In the Open Era, seven locations hosted the event: Pörtschach in 1968 and 1999; Kitzbühel from 1969 to 1983 and from 1990 to 1993; Vienna in 1979 and from 2001 to 2004; Bregenz from 1985 to 1986; Maria Lankowitz from 1994 to 1998, Klagenfurt in 2000 and Bad Gastein from 2007 to 2015 where it took place as Nürnberger Gastein Ladies. The tournament which is held on outdoor clay courts was not contested in 1984, 1987 to 1989 and from 2005 to 2006.

The Ostrava Open is a tennis tournament organised for female professional tennis players, and part of the WTA tour. It is a Premier-level tournament held in October 2020, played on indoor hard courts, and organised to make up for the many tournaments cancelled during the 2020 season, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament attracted four top-20 players, including two-time grand slam champion and former world no. 1 Victoria Azarenka.

The U.S. Women's Indoor Championships, was a national tennis championship for women that was sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association and held 79 times from 1907 through 2001 at various locations and on various surfaces. The event was affiliated with the WTA Tour from 1971 through 2001.

Brisbane International Tennis tournament

The Brisbane International established in 2009 is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hardcourts in Brisbane, Queensland. It is a WTA Premier tournament of the WTA Tour and was part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the ATP World Tour until 2019, when it was dropped from the ATP Tour.

The Ladies Open Lausanne is a women's professional tennis tournament which is currently played in Lausanne but has played in a number of locations in Switzerland. The event was called the WTA Swiss Open from 1899–1994, and was played on outdoor clay courts. The tournament underwent a name change in 1986, when it was titled the European Open until its discontinuation. It formed part of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Tour. When the WTA introduced the tiering format to its circuit, the event gradually moved up, from being a Tier V in 1988–1989, a Tier IV from 1990–1992, and a Tier III for its remaining years. The WTA announced that the tournament would return in Gstaad as a clay event on the 2016 Tour, replacing another clay court event held in Bad Gastein.

The WTA Doubles Championships is a defunct WTA Tour affiliated tennis tournament for doubles, played from 1975 to 1997. It was held on indoor carpet courts from 1975 to 1981 and from 1983 to 1990, and on outdoor clay courts in 1982 and from 1991 to 1997.

The Eckerd Open is a defunct WTA Tour affiliated women's tennis tournament played from 1971 to 1990 in various locations in the Tampa Bay Area, Florida in the United States. It was held in St. Petersburg, Florida from 1971 to 1974, Palm Harbor, Florida in 1977, in Clearwater, Florida in 1978 and in Tampa, Florida from 1979 to 1990. The tournament was played on outdoor hard courts from 1977 to 1986 and on outdoor clay courts from 1971 to 1974 and from 1987 to 1990.

The 1975 Rothmans Canadian Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club in Toronto in Canada that was part of the 1975 Commercial Union Assurance Grand Prix and of the 1975 WTA Tour. The tournament was held from August 11 through August 17, 1975.

The Western Australian Open and originally called the Western Australian Championships is a defunct Grand Prix tennis circuit Men's and WTA Tour affiliated women's tennis tournament played from 1971 to 1975 at Royal King's Park Tennis Club in Perth, Australia and was played on grass courts.

The 1975 WTA Tour consisted of a number of tennis tournaments for female tennis players. It was composed of the newly streamlined version of the Virginia Slims Circuit and the Woman's International Grand Prix. The year 1975 also saw the creation of the first official ranking system and these rankings were used to determine acceptance into the tournaments.

Carpet court

A carpet court is a type of tennis court. The International Tennis Federation describes the surface as a "textile or polymeric material supplied in rolls or sheets of finished product." It is one of the fastest court types, second only to grass courts. The use of carpet courts in ATP Tour competitions ended in 2009. In women's tennis, no WTA Tour tournaments have used carpet courts since the last edition of the Tournoi de Québec in 2018. ATP Challenger and ITF circuit level tournaments with carpet courts continue to exist up to the present (2021).
