WWE: Uncaged is a compilation album of unreleased professional wrestling entrance theme songs which was released by WWE on December 16, 2016, on online music stores. The album includes several tracks that were previously unreleased to the public, with tracks 15 and 16 featuring acoustic versions of Randy Orton's and Batista's theme songs. [1] [2] [3]

In 2023, WWE again revived the event, this time for its developmental brand, NXT, in September.

James Alan Johnston is an American music composer and musician best known for his time with professional wrestling promotion, WWE. Over the course of three decades, he composed and recorded entrance theme music for the promotion's wrestlers, and compilations of his music released by WWE charted highly in several countries.

The first album was released on December 16, 2016, and so far there have been fifteen albums released in total as of February 8, 2021. Starting from WWE: Uncaged XI, the albums were released around the 'Big Four' pay-per-view events. However, there have been no new releases since February 2021, leaving the future of the series in doubt.
