Wadi Al Maawil is a Wilayat of Al Batinah South in the Sultanate of Oman. It is located in the interior of the country south to Barka, many people confuse it as a part of Barka itself. [2] [3]

Bidiya or Bidiyyah is a Wilayah situated in the middle of the Eastern Region of the Sultanate of Oman. It is located about 233 kilometres from the capital city, Muscat. The province of Bidiyyah, also known as Badiyah, is one of the provinces in the Eastern Region of Oman. It shares its northern border with Al-Qabil province, while its eastern boundaries are adjacent to Al-Kamil wa Al-Wafi, and Wadi Bani Khalid provinces. The Al Kathiri also known as Alkaseri is a royal family that has had strong influence in the south of the Arabian Peninsula. However, there are two tribes of Al Kathiri one is Banu Dhanna and one is Banu Lam tribe, which is descendant from Tayy tribe, is located in Najd - northern Saudi Arabia - Kuwait - Iraq, and branched to Al Kathran (الكثران), Al Mughira (المغيرة), Al Fadhuol (الفظول) and Al Dhafeer (الظفير).
