"Waiting for Tomorrow" is a song by Dutch DJ Martin Garrix and American DJ and musician Pierce Fulton. It features lead vocals from singer Mike Shinoda,and uncredited production by fellow Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson. It is released as the fifth and last track from Garrix's third EP, Bylaw ,on October 19,2018,via Stmpd,Epic Amsterdam and Sony Netherlands.
First premiered at the 2016 Ultra Music Festival by Garrix during his headlining closing set,it was initially expected to be included in his unreleased debut studio album +x. [1] [2] Linkin Park has been reported as a feature for the album alongside deceased vocalist Chester Bennington,although Shinoda is the most frequent mention. [3] [4] In April 2018,during the Q&A session of the documentary film What We Started,Garrix spoke about the link with Linkin Park,he stated "'Waiting for Tomorrow' was together with Linkin Park,and because of Chester's passing,it's little bit hard to release the song. I don't know if we're ever gonna release it. I hope so,maybe one day. But not soon I think. We are working on it,but I don't know yet. There's a lot of new unreleased music which I'm gonna release very soon." [5]

Linkin Park is an American rock band formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1996. The band's lineup consists of vocalist/rhythm guitarist/keyboardist Mike Shinoda, lead guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave Farrell, DJ/turntablist Joe Hahn, and drummer Rob Bourdon, with vocalist Chester Bennington also part of the band until his death in 2017. Categorized as alternative rock, Linkin Park's earlier music spanned a fusion of heavy metal and hip hop, while their later music features more electronica and pop elements.
Chester Charles Bennington was an American singer who was the lead vocalist of the rock band Linkin Park. He was also the lead vocalist of Grey Daze, Dead by Sunrise, and Stone Temple Pilots at various points.
Michael Kenji Shinoda is an American musician, songwriter, rapper, singer, record producer and graphic designer. He co-founded the rock band Linkin Park in 1996 and is the band's co-lead vocalist, as well as rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, primary songwriter and producer. Shinoda later created a hip-hop-driven side project, Fort Minor, in 2004. He has also served as a producer for tracks and albums by artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Styles of Beyond, and the X-Ecutioners.
Meteora is the second studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released on March 25, 2003, through Warner Bros. Records, following Reanimation, a collaboration album which featured remixes of songs included on their 2000 debut studio album Hybrid Theory. The album was produced by the band alongside Don Gilmore. The title Meteora is taken from the Greek Orthodox monasteries originally bearing the name.
