Seven is the third extended play [1] by Dutch electronic musician Martin Garrix. [2] Released on 28 October 2016, [3] the EP was released via Stmpd Rcrds, and features collaborations with Mesto, Jay Hardway, Julian Jordan, Matisse & Sadko and Florian Picasso, as well as writing contributions from Giorgio Tuinfort among others. [4] The tracks were issued one per day between 15 and 21 October 2016. [5]

Martijn Gerard Garritsen, known professionally as Martin Garrix and also as Ytram and GRX, is a Dutch DJ and record producer who was ranked number one on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list for three consecutive years—2016, 2017, and 2018. He is best known for his singles "Animals", "In the Name of Love", and "Scared to Be Lonely".
"Animals" is a big room house instrumental by Dutch DJ and record producer Martin Garrix, released as a digital download on 17 June 2013 on iTunes. The song quickly became popular within the EDM culture, leading to Garrix becoming the youngest producer to ever have a song reach number one on the electronic music store Beatport. The EP was released in five parts, with a song being released each day from 15 to 19 October before being released in full on 19 October 2018, similar to the release schedule of Garrix's previous EP Seven.
