Giorgio Hesdey Tuinfort (born 30 April 1981) is a Dutch record producer and songwriter. He is best known for his production work for Senegalese-American singer Akon and French DJ David Guetta.

Born in Suriname, Tuinfort moved to the Netherlands at nine months old. His musical career began at age four, after he attended a special music class for toddlers. After being touted a "musical promise", he was admitted to the Young Talent Class of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague at the age of 11. Tuinfort then studied Classical music, with his major instrument being the piano.
Tuinfort's production and composition abilities were first discovered at the age of 16 by Rutger “Rutti” Kroese, who gave him the platform to work with well-established Dutch artists such as Re-Play, Brace, Ebon-E, Negativ and Lange Frans & Baas B. Through this, Tuinfort became a sought-after name in local music production. Subsequently, Tuinfort embarked on an international career and moved to the United States to work with then upcoming Senegalese American recording artist Akon. As his frequent co-producer, he saw commercial success with contributions to the singer's singles including "“Right Now (Na, Na, Na)", "Beautiful", and "What You Got".
In the years following he collaborated with numerous artists including Gwen Stefani, Michael Jackson, Sia, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston and Lionel Richie among many others. He began collaborating with French DJ David Guetta in 2009, and saw further success blending EDM with pop and urban music. This resulted in him contributing to Guetta's singles such as "Who's That Chick?" with Rihanna, "One Last Time" with Ariana Grande and "Titanium" with Sia. Tuinfort composed musical themes for the UEFA 2016 European Football Championships. Aside from the title song with David Guetta, Tuinfort also composed classical renditions which were recorded by the 130-piece Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and received international praise.
Tuinfort, together with Franck van der Heijden, is the composer of the 2011 UEFA Nations League theme song, which was lauded by critics as one of the best contemporary classical pieces of modern time. [1] [2] Giorgio once again composed all music for the UEFA Euro 2020 including the official song of the tournament ‘We Are the People’ together with Martin Garrix, Bono and The Edge.
In the interim Giorgio has showed his intercontinental abilities with successes on both Japanese and Indian soil. He co-produced ‘Scarlet’ for the Japanese group J Soul Brothers II, which became a major success and reached the number one position on the Japanese charts. In India he co-produced “Chammak Challo” for the Bollywood film Ra.One. The song was named the most downloaded song and video of the year when released, winning a Merchi “Song of the Year” Award.
When asked, Giorgio still mentions Classical Music as the "Love of his Life" and expresses his ambitions to release his own music in 2023.
Giorgio has written- and produced for the world most renowned artists, amongst them Akon, David Guetta, Michael Jackson, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna, Sia, Lady Gaga, Martin Garrix, Avicii, Ariana Grande, Céline Dion, Charlie Puth, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Usher, Lionel Richie and Sean Paul.
Giorgio was nominated for a Grammy Award four times, winning twice. He won the prestigious BMI Songwriter Award an unprecedented 30 times. He is recipient of the Buma Export Award (an award given to Dutch composers who have sold the most records abroad). He was also awarded the Golden Harp (Dutch music accomplishment award) and a Gouden Kalf (Dutch equivalent of the Oscars) for his music score for the Dutch film Bolletjes Blues. In 2015, Giorgio was commended by the Dutch royal family as recognition to his achievements and contribution to Dutch music on an international scale.
Tuinfort is part of the trio which created StemDrop, [3] a new evolution in global music collaboration. StemDrop launches a song with one of the greatest songwriters online via TikTok. TikTok creators globally are exclusively provided with music stems and invited to produce their own versions of the brand-new song. StemDrop is a collaboration between Syco Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Republic Records.
Drop #001 was launched on October 19, 2022. It is the song “Red Light”, written by the hit-making team Max Martin, Savan Kotecha and Ali Payami.
Giorgio is known for avoiding the limelight and not being present on social media, citing "Music should speak for itself".[ citation needed ]

Dutch hip hop or Nederhop ("Netherhop") is hip hop / rap music created by Dutch speaking musicians in the Netherlands and Flanders (Belgium). Although the first Dutch rappers in Europe typically wrote in the English language, this began to change when Osdorp Posse gained a big following of fans. They were the first to record and release hip hop in the Dutch language, perform for big crowds and to achieve chart success with their albums.

Frans Christiaan Frederiks, known by his stage name Lange Frans, is a Dutch rapper and television presenter. From 1997 to 2004 he was a member of the band D-Men. Between 1997 and 2009 he was part of the Lange Frans & Baas B duo before starting a solo career. In 2019 the duo reformed and made a few appearances, but in April 2021 Baas B returned with a solo album, claiming that he and Frederiks were no longer on the same page "in terms of message". Before taking the stage name Lange Frans, he used the name Akela.
D-Men was a Dutch rap formation established in 1997 under the name D-Men Squad. This was after a freestyle session they held on a basketball court in Diemen-Zuid. The original members of D-Men were rapper Lange Frans, his brother rapper Brutus and a childhood friend rapper-singer Bart Zeilstra better known as Baas B. They picked the name that sound like their home town Diemen. Many others joined in the formation, famous for its mixtapes De Straatremixes. D-Men also have their own record label named D-Men Entertainment.
Thijs Frederiks, better known by his stage name Brutus, is a Dutch rapper originating from Diemen, Netherlands. Alongside his older brother Lange Frans and rapper-singer better known as Baas B was a founding member of D-Men and the band's manager.

After the split-up of the duo, he is working as a solo artist; the duo eventually reformed in 2019.
"Zing voor me" meaning 'sing for me' in Dutch (also known as Zing een liedje voor me (Frans) meaning Sing a song for me Frans) is a Dutch language 2010 single by Lange Frans and Thé Lau. It was released on Dutch record label TopNotch and was produced by Giorgio Tuinfort.
"Titanium" is a song by French DJ and record producer David Guetta, featuring vocals by Australian singer and songwriter Sia. Taken from Guetta's fifth studio album, Nothing but the Beat, the song was written by Sia, Guetta, Giorgio Tuinfort and Afrojack. Production was also handled by Guetta, Tuinfort and Afrojack. "Titanium" was initially released for digital download on 25 August 2011, as the first of four promotional singles from the album. It was later released as the album's fourth single in 2011. The song originally featured the vocals of American recording artist Mary J. Blige, whose version of the song leaked online in 2011.
"Crank It Up" is a song by French DJ and record producer David Guetta, featuring vocals by Senegalese-American R&B recording artist Akon. Taken from the former's fifth studio album, Nothing but the Beat. The song was written by Aliaune Thiam, Guetta, Giorgio Tuinfort and Riesterer. Production was also handled by Guetta, Tuinfort and Rister. On March 14, 2012, Guetta tweeted that he had a dilemma on choosing his next single, asking his fans for opinions, giving two tracks "Crank It Up" and "I Can Only Imagine" featuring Chris Brown and Lil Wayne, but ultimately lost to the latter.
"Play Hard" is a song by French DJ and record producer David Guetta featuring vocals from American singers Ne-Yo and Akon. It was released on 15 March 2013 as the third single from the 2012 re-release of Guetta's fifth studio album, Nothing but the Beat (2011). This is the third collaboration between Guetta and Akon since "Sexy Bitch" in 2009 and "Crank It Up" in 2011. All three artists co-wrote the song along with Frédéric Riesterer and Giorgio Tuinfort, both of whom produced the song with Guetta. "Phresh Out the Runway" is a song recorded by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna for her seventh studio album Unapologetic (2012). It was co-written by Rihanna with French disc-jockey David Guetta, Giorgio Tuinfort and Terius Nash. It is the first time that Rihanna and Guetta had collaborated since "Who's That Chick?", released in November 2010. "Phresh Out the Runway" is a hip hop and rave song that contains heavy synthesizers and bass. Lyrically, Rihanna explains how if any of her crew does not respect her, they should no longer remain with her.
"Lying Down" is a song by Canadian singer Celine Dion from her twelfth English-language studio album, Courage (2019). It was written by David Guetta, Giorgio Tuinfort and Sia, and produced by Guetta and Tuinfort. "Lying Down" was released as a digital download on 18 September 2019. On the same day, Dion embarked on her Courage World Tour and performed the song during the first fifteen dates before replacing it with "Imperfections". "Lying Down" entered several charts, and received positive reviews from music critics. On 19 October 2019, it was sent to radio in the United Kingdom.
