Wally Brandt (born Walter Anthony Brandt) is an American guitarist, producer, and songwriter, best known for his work with Pop rock band Seven and the Sun, Country music band Whiskey Falls and Production music company We3Kings Music.

Career

Seven and the Sun

Brant was a member of the band Seven and the Sun, contributing guitar and vocals. [1] The band was best known for the hit song "Walk With Me". [2] Their recording of "Jump (The Velvet Rope)" was featured in the Summer Catch#Soundtrack, "Back to the Innocence" became the theme song for NBC's "The John Walsh Show". [3]

Whiskey Falls

After Seven and the Sun disbanded, Brandt and Seven Williams moved to Nashville to write and produce music for country artists under their Production music company We3Kings Music. Brandt's twin brother Bill joined them in the recording studio as songwriter and producer for their self-titled album. [4] [5] [6] The band was featured in several music magazines, toured, [7] and made appearances on national television [8] [9] and at several NASCAR pre-race events, [10] and in television commercials. The group and their song "Load Up the Bases (The Baseball Song)" are featured in television promos for Atlanta Braves and Colorado Rockies, and the song also charted at No. 55 on the country music charts during the 2007 and 2008 World Series. One of their songs became the theme for the Mark Burnett Show. [9]

Music production

Brandt and partners Bill Brandt and Williams have moved their music production company We3Kings to Los Angeles, where they have composed and recorded theme songs for many television shows, including NBC's "The John Walsh Show", Fox's "Tru Calling" and "The Simple Life" [11] and ABC's "The Two-Timer" as well as NBC's "Minute to Win It" and BRAVO's "Tabatha’s Salon Makeover" to TLC's "Sarah Palin’s Alaska", Lifetime's "Dance Moms" and "Ryan & Tatum: The O’Neals "on OWN. [4] They have also written cues and promos for several TV shows including NBC's "Las Vegas", "Starting Over", "Access Hollywood", "Entertainment Tonight" and ABC's "Extreme Makeover:Home Edition".

Along with writing music and producing for Seven and the Sun and Whiskey Falls, Wally Brandt and We3Kings also developed the band Full Blown Rose and have recorded for several new artists and bands. In 2004, Wally Brandt and fellow We3Kings composers won the BMI TV Award for Song of the Year for "The Simple Life" starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. [12] In 2007, the same group won the ASCAP TV Award for Song of the Year for "Shark", [13] starring [James Woods].

Seven and the Sun was an American rock band consisting of Seven, Wally Brandt (guitar), Bill Brandt (programming), and Eddie Zak (guitars). They are best known for their 2002 single "Walk with Me". Their song was used in the TV soap opera Passions, and was also featured in the Columbia Pictures film, America's Sweethearts starring Julia Roberts, Billy Crystal, John Cusack and Catherine Zeta-Jones. It received moderate air play on American radio, reaching number 38 on the Billboard Adult Top 40, number 27 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 and number 40 on the Billboard Top 40 Tracks chart. "Walk with Me" was their only hit.

Jill Colucci is an American songwriter and vocalist. She initially rose to prominence in 1988, singing the main scores to the film Mystic Pizza. She sang the ABC promo campaigns Something's Happening and America's Watching ABC. She also performed "The Funny Things You Do", which was the main theme song of America's Funniest Home Videos during the era of Bob Saget. Colucci's prolific credits even extended to Toyota, where she was the original vocalist of the auto maker's "I Love What You Do For Me" campaign in 1989 and she also performed the title theme song of the short-lived NBC-TV series Brand New Life (1989–90). Whiskey Falls was an American country music group composed of Seven Williams, Wally Brandt Damon Johnson, and Buck Johnson. Seven Williams and Wally Brandt were former members of Seven and the Sun, while Damon Johnson was once the frontman of the Southern rock band Brother Cane and a guitarist for Alice Cooper. Whiskey Falls released one self titled album for Midas Records Nashville in 2007 before disbanding.

"Believe" is the second single from the rock band The Bravery's second album The Sun and the Moon. It is the highest charting Modern Rock single for the band, reaching number four. A remixed version of the song appears on The Sun and the Moon Complete. "Believe" was later certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on April 10, 2014.
