Walter Meego was an American band from Chicago, Illinois.
Walter Meego was formed in 2004 [1] by Justin Sconza (guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Pat Pellegrini, and Colin Yarck (production) in the basement of Pellegrini's house. Pellegrini left the band in 2005. Subsequently, in 2007, Andrew Adzemovic (guitar and vocals) joined. They released a series of EPs before their debut album "Voyager," which was released in May 2008. The band's second full-length LP "Wondervalley" was released in November 2010 as a free download on the band's website and as a paid download on iTunes.
Several of the band's songs have been featured on TV shows and advertisements, including ABC's Ugly Betty [2] and the Heineken "Beertender" ads which were aired in 2008. Additionally, Justin Sconza's solo song, "Pretty Picture," was featured in the Cox Communications ad "Pod," starting in the summer of 2008. The spot was produced by Jan Chen and Lane Nakamura. [3]
On October 12, 2011, Walter Meego's end was officially announced via the group's Twitter account. [4]

An additional EP, a remixed album, and a single were released under the moniker Pale Sketcher. Jesu is a post-metal band formed in 2003 by Justin Broadrick following the breakup of Godflesh. In March, 2010, Broadrick announced that he felt Jesu had strayed further away from the guitar driven music that he had intended, and more into electronica. As a resolution, although Jesu would still contain electronic elements, it would return to a guitar driven sound while the Pale Sketcher project would allow Broadrick to explore the electronica oriented sound further without interfering with Jesu.
A Great Big Pile of Leaves is an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, currently signed to Topshelf Records. It was founded by guitarist/singer Pete Weiland and drummer Tyler Soucy, who began creating and recording their music in 2007. After the release of their first two EPs The Fiery Works and The Fiery Works II, Tucker Yaro joined the group. The trio then recorded their first full-length album, Have You Seen My Prefrontal Cortex?. In November 2011, the band released two EPs entitled Boom! and Live from the Living Room with Topshelf Records. Both EPs were released on limited edition vinyl and are also available for digital download. Their third LP, Pono, was released on August 13, 2021.
