Wan Kuzri bin Wan Kamal (born 9 August 2002) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for the Akron Zips men's soccer team. [1] [2] [3]

Early life and education

Kuzri was born and raised in the United States. [4] He is a native of Carbondale, Illinois. [5] As a youth player, Kuzri joined the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Academy. [6]

Kuzri attended the University of Akron. [7]

Career

Kuzri has been called up to represent Malaysia internationally at the youth level. [8] [9] Kuzri has received comparisons to Croatia international Luka Modric, Malaysia international Safiq Rahim and Germany international Toni Kroos. [10] [ better source needed ]

Personal life

Kuzri is the younger brother of Wan Kuzain, a professional soccer player in the United States. [11] [12] His older brother, Wan Ahmad Fayhsal, is a Malaysian politician.

Wan Ahmad Fayhsal bin Wan Ahmad Kamal otherwise known as 'Wan Fayhsal' or WAF, is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Machang since November 2022.
