Warr Acres (formerly known as VMusic) is a contemporary worship music band from Warr Acres, Oklahoma. They are on the DREAM Records label, which they released their first studio album on August 23, 2011 entitled Warr Acres , and their second studio LP called Hope Will Rise on October 29, 2013.

Contemporary worship music (CWM), also known as praise and worship music, is a defined genre of Christian music used in contemporary worship. It has developed over the past sixty years and is stylistically similar to pop music. The songs are frequently referred to as "praise songs" or "worship songs" and are typically led by a "worship band" or "praise team", with either a guitarist or pianist leading. Warr Acres is a city in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, United States, and a part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. It was established after World War II by C.B. Warr, a dynamic businessman, builder, and commercial developer. The population was 10,043 at the 2010 census.

As VMusic, they released six independent albums starting with 2005's Unfold, 2006's Resonation, 2007's Displegar and Wait, 2009's Altísima Adoración and Fixed On You. [3]

The band released their eponymously titled first studio album Warr Acres on August 23, 2011. It saw success on the Billboard 200 and Christian Albums charts at numbers 166 and 8, respectively. [5] In addition, it placed at number 19 on the Independent Albums chart. [5]

Kristy Starling is a Contemporary Christian Music singer, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After marrying husband Adam in the fall of 2002, she came second in a national singing competition, Today's Superstar, NBC News' morning show. She signed to Warner Bros. Records, working with successful producer David Foster, and released her eponymous debut album on 22 April 2003, the album features a cover of LeAnn Rimes' "I Need You". This album peaked at No. 19 on Billboard's Heatseekers charts and No. 24 on its Top Contemporary Christian Albums chart. In 2005, her single "Coming Home for Christmas" peaked at No. 32 on the Adult Contemporary chart. So far, a second album has not been released.

Samestate was an American Christian alternative rock band originating from Kansas City, Kansas. Band members included Dalton Diehl on vocals, piano and guitar, Darren Harms on guitar and Ryan Lytle on the bass guitar. The Brilliance, stylized as the BRILLIANCE, is a band made up of David Gungor and John Arndt. They create spiritual protest music. They are based in New York City.

Fusebox was an American contemporary Christian music band from Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee, and they formed in 2000 and disbanded in 2006, while their frontman was Billy Buchanan. They released, Lost in Worship, with Inpop Records and Elevate Records, in 2002. Through the same label they released Once Again in 2004, and saw the single, "Once Again", placed on the Billboard Christian Songs chart.
