Watauga High School (WHS) is a public high school in Boone, North Carolina. It is part of the Watauga County Schools district.
Watauga High School was established in 1965, following the consolidation of five Watauga County high schools. [3] In 2010, Watauga High School moved to a brand new facility, where it is currently located today. [4]
Watauga is a member of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) and are classified as a 6A school. They are a part of the Northwestern 6A/7A Conference.
