Watermark was a Contemporary Christian singing duo composed of husband and wife Nathan and Christy Nockels. They were under Michael W. Smith's record label, Rocketown Records.
Watermark got their start recording under the name Sons and Daughters, with longtime friends Charlie and Kimber Hall (Charlie Hall is a known worship leader with the Passion Conferences). They released their first record, Holy Roar, with this lineup in 1995. In 1997, they released Open Me Up under the same name. That same year, Nathan and Christy began leading worship at Metro Bible Study at Houston's First Baptist Church. This is where Watermark began.
Rocketown heard about Watermark around 1998, and soon signed them to the label. That same year, they released their first project as a part of Rocketown, an album called Watermark. This disc is almost a complete re-record of the Sons and Daughters disc Open Me Up, with only a few song changes. Their second album, All Things New, which is probably their best-known project, released in 2000. Constant, their 3rd studio project with Rocketown, was released in 2002. Their final all-studio album, The Purest Place, was released in August 2004. This project yielded the couple a GMA Music Awards nomination for Inspirational Album of the Year, and also helped to earn Christy a nod for Female Vocalist, though neither award was won.
On March 14, 2006, Watermark released their final album as a part of Rocketown. A Grateful People was recorded live at the couple's church in Brentwood, Tennessee in August 2005. It includes 12 tracks from the 3-hour-long concert and 2 brand new studio tracks. Friends of the couple who have played roles in their ministry that are special guests on the album include Point of Grace, Chris Tomlin, Ed Cash, and Shane and Shane.
Throughout the years, Nathan and Christy have played a part in the Passion Conferences, which were started by Louie Giglio. Most recently, Nathan has produced live recordings of the 2005 and 2006 conferences in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nathan is an avid producer, having produced not only the Passion CDs, but also Watermark's The Purest Place, and Rita Springer's I Have To Believe, among others.
Watermark has toured extensively during their career, doing both solo shows and also with such notable groups as Point of Grace and Michael W. Smith.

Lead singer Christy Nockels released her first solo album, Life Light Up, on June 2, 2009, under sixstepsrecords. Christy and Nathan are an active part of Passion Conferences, and in 2008 they moved to Atlanta to be a founding family of Passion City Church. [2]
Watermark have released many songs available on various compilations. These songs include: "O Come Emmanuel", "In the Garden/There Is None Like You", "Breathe", "Grace Flows Down", and "Breath of God."
Geoff Moore is an American contemporary Christian music singer. He began recording as a solo artist in 1984. In 1987, he formed Geoff Moore and The Distance, his touring band, which released eight albums generating a string of No. 1 radio hits throughout their 10+-year tenure. In 1998, Geoff retired the band from full-time touring. After a "farewell tour", Moore has continued as a solo artist, releasing eight more records between 1999 and 2015. The Next Thing was released in April 2016, making it his 25th album to date.

Chris Rice is an American singer and songwriter who works in the contemporary Christian music, contemporary folk, adult contemporary and adult album alternative genres. He became a recording artist in 1996 after signing a contract with Rocketown Records and releasing his debut album, Deep Enough to Dream. He released six albums between 1996 and 2007, before entering a 12-year hiatus. In 2019, he ended his hiatus and released a joint album with gospel artist Andrew Ripp.
Rocketown Records was an independent record label which was started in 1996 by Michael W. Smith. In the fall of 1995, met with Don Donahue, A&R director at Reunion Records, to discuss creation of the label.
Blessed Be Your Name: The Songs of Matt Redman Vol. 1 is an album by worship artist Matt Redman released in 2005. It is a live re-recording of some of Redman's best known songs. It was recorded during the Facedown: Conference for Songwriters which was held 28 to 30 January 2004, at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Redman recorded enough material at the 2004 conference to release a live album in 2004 (Facedown) that was focused on newly written songs plus a second retrospective album in 2005. One song, "Facedown", appears in both albums, however producer Nathan Nockels recorded numerous overdubs on the Blessed Be Your Name version as he did with numerous other tracks on the album, adding in percussion, string orchestra parts and additional background vocals.
Out of the Grey is a husband-and-wife Contemporary Christian music project consisting of Scott and Christine Denté. Christine provides lead vocals, while Scott plays guitars and sings background, along with the occasional lead vocals. They have released seven studio albums, one best-of compilation and one live EP and have been involved in a number of other projects. Their debut album was ranked 47th in the book CCM Presents: The 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music.

The 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards were held on April 25, 2007 recognizing accomplishments of musicians for the year 2006. The show was held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee, and was hosted by Brian Littrell, Natalie Grant, and Donnie McClurkin. This was the first year in which the awards were called the "GMA Dove Awards" since the 2006 edition was called the "GMA Music Awards".

The 44th Annual GMA Dove Awards presentation ceremony was held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Allen Arena. It returned to Nashville, Tennessee after being away for two years. The ceremony recognized the accomplishments of musicians and other figures within the Christian music industry since the previous ceremony in April 2012. The ceremony was produced by the Gospel Music Association and was hosted by singers Kirk Franklin and Amy Grant. The awards show was broadcast on the UP television network on October 21, 2013.
