Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) is a public community college in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. The main campus is in Pewaukee, with a satellite campus in downtown Waukesha. It is a member of the Wisconsin Technical College System.
WCTC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

WCCX was a student-run college radio station licensed to Waukesha, Wisconsin, which served the Carroll University campus and area immediately surrounding it. It was owned by Carroll University. WCCX was also known as "The X" and "The voice of Carroll University," and played an eclectic mix typical of college radio, including music from both major label and independent artists. WCCX is also the only media outlet covering Carroll Pioneer athletic events. The original call sign for the station was to be WCCZ and the frequency 88.1 MHz. This frequency was found to interfere with the audio of WITI TV channel 6 within the City of Waukesha whenever WCCZ broadcast. Shortly after this, Carroll College applied to change the license to 104.5 MHz and use the call sign WCCX.

Brookfield Academy is a non-sectarian, private PreK–12 school in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The school opened on September 10, 1962, in a converted ranch-style house. The Academy has expanded over the years with new buildings and more teachers and students. In 2014, the Academy had 97 faculty members and more than 860 students on a 117-acre (47-hectare) campus. Brookfield Academy has 18 Advanced Placement courses for students and numerous other clubs and activities.

The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee at Waukesha is a two-year college located in Waukesha, in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. A branch campus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, it is part of the University of Wisconsin System. Like the other 2-year UW campuses, UWM at Waukesha's land and buildings belong to a local government unit, in this case Waukesha County. As part of the local-state partnership, the University of Wisconsin provides faculty, staff, educational programs, technology, furnishings, libraries, and supplies. In 2018, the college became a regional campus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The campus will close at the end of the spring 2025 semester.
