He was one of the acclaimed filmmakers of Parallel Cinema movement of India.
Yugi Sethu is an Indian actor, filmmaker, writer, entrepreneur, television presenter, academician, critic and art historian who has worked in the Tamil film industry. Vibha Bakshi is an Indian filmmaker, journalist, and founder of Responsible Films. She is known for her films that highlight issues of gender inequality. Vibha's most notable films as both director and producer include Daughters of Mother India and Son Rise. Both films are winners of the National Film Awards from the President of India. She is the recipient of four National Film Awards from the President of India.

The 2022 Sundance Film Festival took place from January 20 to 30, 2022. Due to COVID-19 pandemic protocol, it was initially intended to be an in-person/virtual hybrid festival, but on January 5, 2022, it was announced that the in-person components would be scrapped in favor of a wholly virtual festival due to the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant. Hope Dies Last in War is a 2007 documentary directed and produced by Supriyo Sen. The film received the Best Documentary Award at the 55th National Film Awards and was included in the India Panorama at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The documentary was filmed between 2004 and 2007.
Sparsh Ahuja is an Indian-Australian peace activist and documentary filmmaker. He founded Project Dastaan along with Sam Dalrymple and Saadia Gardezi.
