"Truly Madly Deeply" is a song by Australian pop duo Savage Garden, released as the third single from their self-titled debut album in March 1997 by Columbia Records, Roadshow Music and Sony Records. It won the 1997 ARIA Music Award for Single of the Year and Highest Selling Single and was nominated for Song of the Year. Written by bandmates Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones, the song is a reworking of a song called "Magical Kisses" that the pair wrote together during the recording of their debut album.
Thirsty Merc are an Australian pop rock band formed in 2002 by Rai Thistlethwayte, Phil Stack, Karl Robertson (drums), and Matthew Baker (guitar). In 2004, Baker was replaced by Sean Carey, who was, in turn, replaced by Matt Smith in 2010. Thirsty Merc have released one extended play, First Work, and four studio albums: Thirsty Merc, Slideshows, Mousetrap Heart and Shifting Gears. The band have sold over 200,000 albums, toured extensively around Australia, and received national radio airplay for their tracks.

The song also climbed the charts in the United States following its feature in a Diet Coke ("Loft") commercial, peaking at number 20 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and reaching number seven on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart.
"How Do U Want It" is a song by American hip hop artist 2Pac. It was released in June 1996 as the third single from his album All Eyez on Me. This was his final single, along with "Hit 'Em Up", to be released during his lifetime. The song features R&B duo K-Ci & JoJo, who at the time were best known as the lead singers of Jodeci. It was a double A-side single to "California Love" in the United States, and reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 17 in the UK in 1996.

"Please Don't Go" is a song recorded and released in 1979 on the KC and the Sunshine Band album Do You Wanna Go Party. Originally written in the key of D flat, the song was the band's first love ballad. In the song, the subject pleads for a second chance. Shortly after the song's one-week run at number one, the group broke up and Harry Wayne Casey went solo. The song was a number-one hit on the Australian ARIA Charts, their sixth and final number-one hit in Canada on the RPM national chart as well as their fifth and final number-one hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts, and the first number-one hit of the 1980s. "Please Don't Go" was actually part of a double-sided single, with the flip slide "I Betcha Didn't Know That" being released to R&B stations and hitting number 25 on the R&B chart.
"Life Is a Rollercoaster" is a song by Irish singer-songwriter Ronan Keating from his debut solo album, Ronan. The song was written and produced by New Radicals frontman Gregg Alexander, and Rick Nowels, having originally been intended for the second New Radicals album which never came to fruition due to Alexander's decision to break up the band. The opening refrain of the song is similar to that of a leaked Gregg Alexander song, "A Love Like That", suggesting that parts of the song were incorporated in Keating's song.
"Summer Rain" is a song written by Robbie Seidman and Maria Vidal, produced by Rick Nowels for Belinda Carlisle's third album Runaway Horses (1989). The power ballad is about a man who goes away to war and leaves his wife, saying that nothing will change—they will be together forever and always. Although the conflict is unidentified, images in the video of a transport aircraft on an airfield and troops parachuting from transport aircraft suggest the man is an airborne soldier. The song is set in the present as his widow sings it, remembering the last time she saw him. It was released around the world in 1990 and was issued as a CD single, 7" single and a 12" single.

The track was number one on the UK Singles Chart for five weeks, and ended 2007 as the year's third biggest-selling single in that country. In the US, "Grace Kelly" was made available for digital download on 16 January 2007. This song was also No. 89 on MTV Asia's list of Top 100 Hits of 2007. It was designed to be a mocking satire of musicians who try to reinvent themselves to be popular.
"Love Today" is the second single released by London-based singer Mika, taken from his debut studio album Life in Cartoon Motion (2007). The song was produced by Greg Wells at Rocket Carousel studios and engineered by Drew Pearson. It was released in the United Kingdom on 16 April 2007 as a digital download, with the official physical release appearing on 23 April 2007. It has since peaked at number six. The single was released in Australia on 23 July 2007, peaking at number three on the ARIA Singles Chart, and was used for Austereo radio station network advertising. The song was nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance Recording at the 50th Grammy Awards but lost to Justin Timberlake's "LoveStoned/I Think She Knows".

It included the hit single: "Fuego Contra Fuego". His second solo album, Me Amaras (1993) featured a further successful single: "Me Amaras". Martin's third Spanish-language album, A Medio Vivir (1995) included his international breakthrough single, "María". The song topped the chart in France for nine consecutive weeks in early 1997 and was certified Diamond after selling 1.4 million copies. "Vuelve", the lead single from the album of the same name released in 1998 became Martin's first track to top three Billboard charts: Hot Latin Songs, Latin Pop Airplay and Tropical Songs. "La Copa de la Vida", released as the second single and the official song of the 1998 FIFA World Cup, became a worldwide hit.
"Changed the Way You Kiss Me" is a song by British singer Example from his third studio album, Playing in the Shadows. It was released on 5 June 2011 as the album's lead single, after it had premiered on BBC Radio 1 as Zane Lowe's 'Hottest Record in the World' on 24 March 2011. The song was written by Example with Michael Woods, who also produced it. An official remix featuring American rapper Ludacris was made available to mainstream radio in the United States on 1 May 2012.
