Wayne Thom (born December 13, 1933) is an international architectural photographer.
Thom was born in Shanghai and grew up in Hong Kong before moving to Vancouver. He studied photography, first at Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, California, and then at Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, where he graduated in 1968.
Thom's career spans five decades documenting upward of 2,800 projects. He has worked with clients in North America and Asia, but based mainly in the Greater Los Angeles Area. His clients include architects and developers such as I. M. Pei, A. Quincy Jones, Arthur Erickson, Bennie Gonzales, William Pereira, Bing Thom, John Portman, Gio Ponti, Kajima USA, NBBJ and SOM.

The Case Study Houses were experiments in American residential architecture sponsored by Arts & Architecture magazine, which commissioned major architects of the day, including Richard Neutra, Raphael Soriano, Craig Ellwood, Charles and Ray Eames, Pierre Koenig, Eero Saarinen, A. Quincy Jones, Edward Killingsworth, and Ralph Rapson to design and build inexpensive and efficient model homes for the United States residential housing boom caused by the end of World War II and the return of millions of soldiers.
Thom Mayne is an American architect. He is based in Los Angeles. In 1972, Mayne helped found the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), where he is a trustee and the coordinator of the Design of Cities postgraduate program. Since then he has held teaching positions at SCI-Arc, the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is principal of Morphosis Architects, an architectural firm based in Culver City, California and New York City, New York. Mayne received the Pritzker Architecture Prize in March 2005.

Jack Laxer (1927–2018) was an American photographer best known for his work in stereoscopy. His photographs of California modern architecture have been published in magazines and books, displayed in museums, and included in educational programs since the 1950s. He photographed the homes of Lucille Ball and Harold Lloyd with the Stereo Realist camera. His clients included the architects Paul Revere Williams, William F. Cody, Arthur Froehlich, Ladd & Kelsey, and Armet & Davis, best known for their Googie coffee shops. Beginning in 1951 he documented the designs of Louis Armet and Eldon Davis including Norms, Pann’s, and the Holiday Bowl. These images were included in Alan Hess’s book Googie: Fifties Coffee Shop Architecture, setting off a revival of interest in the style beginning in the 1980s.

Eugene Kinn Choy (1912–1991) was a Chinese-American architect best known for designing the Cathay Bank headquarters in Chinatown (1962–66) and several private residences in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. He was the second Chinese-American to join the American Institute of Architects, following I. M. Pei, and the one of the earliest to graduate from the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California.
