Waynecastle, Pennsylvania

Waynecastle is a very small village between Waynesboro and Greencastle in Antrim Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. It is home to a historic grain elevator that was used for the Western Maryland Railroad. The area also has a small railroad trestle that runs over route 16. The railroad tracks are still used by CSX. Trains go by several times a day. The Grain elevator building is home to the Waynesboro Model Railroad Club inc.

Because so many traditional country elevators have been demolished throughout Western Canada, the Inglis elevator row preserves rare examples of a formerly common sight from "the golden age of grain". In recognition of the elevators in Inglis being the last elevator row in Canada, they have been fully restored and protected as a National Historic Site of Canada.

The Alberta Central Railway Museum is a railway museum located south-east of the City of Wetaskiwin, in Central Alberta, Canada. The main building was designed as a scaled-down version of the City's 1907 Canadian Pacific Railway depot. The depot includes a waiting room, baggage room and telegraph office, as well as exhibits and railroad artifacts. Railroad equipment includes locomotives, a sleeper car, passenger coach, freight equipment, cabooses, freight cars and a snowplough. Attractions include a model train layout of the original Wetaskiwin railyard. The museum also features a 1906 Alberta Grain Co. grain elevator which was moved from Hobbema. The elevator is known to be Alberta's second-oldest grain elevator in the Province. Rides are given on a one-mile loop of track.
