The Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film is an award for documentary films. In 1941, the first awards for feature-length documentaries were bestowed as Special Awards to Kukan and Target for Tonight. They have since been bestowed competitively each year, with the exception of 1946. Copies of every winning film are held by the Academy Film Archive.
Rush Hour is a 1998 American buddy cop action comedy film directed by Brett Ratner and written by Jim Kouf and Ross LaManna from a story by LaManna. It stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker as mismatched police officers who are assigned to rescue a Chinese diplomat's abducted daughter. Tom Wilkinson, Chris Penn and Elizabeth Peña play supporting roles. Released on September 18, 1998, the film grossed over $244 million worldwide. Its box office commercial success led to two sequels: Rush Hour 2 (2001) and Rush Hour 3 (2007).
Baadshah (transl. King) is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Abbas–Mustan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Twinkle Khanna in lead roles. It was released on 27 August 1999. Khan earned a Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role nomination for his performance in the film. The film's core plot is loosely based on the 1995 American film Nick of Time with some scenes also lifted from the films If Looks Could Kill, Rush Hour and Mr. Nice Guy.

Blue is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language action-adventure film co-written and directed by Anthony D'Souza, and produced by Dhilin Mehta under Shree Astavinayak Cine Vision Limited. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan, and Rahul Dev. Katrina Kaif and Kabir Bedi appear in cameo appearances. Blue was released during the Diwali festival on 16 October 2009 and received mixed reviews from critics. During the time of release, it was the most expensive Indian film made until then, produced with a budget of more than $21 million. Loosely based on the Hollywood film Into the Blue (2005) and its sequel Into the Blue 2: The Reef (2009), Blue failed to recover its high budget from the box office.
Dum Maaro Dum is a 2011 Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Rohan Sippy and starring Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles, with Rana Daggubati, Prateik Babbar and Aditya Pancholi in supporting roles. The film is a co-production between India and the United States and was shot in Goa. Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance in the remix version of the hit song of the same title. The music has been composed by Pritam. It became the first Indian film to have its soundtrack mixed in Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound.
ABCD: Anybody Can Dance is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language dance drama film directed and choreographed by choreographer Remo D'Souza and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur under UTV Spotboy Motion Pictures. The film stars Prabhu Deva in the lead role along with Ganesh Acharya and Kay Kay Menon. The participants in Dance India Dance appear in supporting roles. Along with the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions titled Aadalam Boys Chinnatha Dance and ABCD respectively, the film, made at a budget of between Rs 120 million and 420 million, was released worldwide in 3D on 8 February 2013 to mostly positive reviews from critics.

Race 3 is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language action crime film directed by Remo D'Souza and Written by Kiran Kotrial and Shiraz Ahmed, produced under Tips Industries and Salman Khan Films. It is the final installment of Race film series which started with Race in 2008 and Race 2 in 2013, but has a loosely related plot to the previous films.

The third installment of Shetty's Cop Universe, it stars Ranveer Singh, Sonu Sood and Sara Ali Khan with Ajay Devgn reprising his role of Singham in a cameo role. A remake of the 2015 Telugu film Temper, the film follows Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao, a corrupt police officer hailing from the same town as Singham, who is forced to lead a more righteous path after tragedy strikes those near him.
Ghoomketu is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film written and directed by Pushpendra Nath Misra. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ragini Khanna, Anurag Kashyap, Ila Arun, Raghuvir Yadav and Brijendra Kala in the main lead roles while also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha and Chitrangada Singh in cameo appearances. The film was produced under two production banners Phantom Films and Sony Pictures Networks Productions, acquired by ZEE5. The plot based on an aspiring novice writer from a small town who runs away to Mumbai to achieve his dreams. The film was streamed via ZEE5 platform on 22 May 2020 instead of theatrical release due to COVID-19 pandemic in India.
