Welcome to the Future is a 1995 adventure video game, [1] developed by Blue Sky Entertainment. [2] It was released on PC and Mac on December 31, 1995. [3]
The game is a point-and-click adventure game. Players study clues and symbols to solve puzzles and progress through the game. [2]
John R. Quain, writing for Entertainment Weekly gave the game a B rating. [1] A review from Electric Games gave it a score of 80% and wrote that "you are treated to a fantastic voyage of imagination that closes the game. Experienced gamers might find this game a bit too simple (and mapping the terrain can be a bit frustrating), but if you are not looking for anything too difficult, and want to be wowed by wonderful graphics and sound, this game is for you." [2] Craig Majaski of World Village criticized the gameplay and misleading advertisements, writing that it "has mediocre graphics, simple gameplay, and a boring quest. The music is the only thing good about the game". [4]
