Weltenbrand is a darkwave band from Liechtenstein formed in 1995 by Oliver Falk. Ritchie Wenaweser and Simone Steiner joined for vocals. In the same year, the band secured a record deal with Witchhunt Records and subsequently released their first album, Das Rabenland. a romantically inclined darkwave album that immediately found acceptance within the genre.
A year later, WeltenBrand signed to Falks' own M.O.S. Records Ltd. to record their second album, Das Nachtvolk, released in 1997. This featured the violinist Daniela Nipp for the first time and remained true to the band's sound, while improving upon both the musical and vocal arrangements. Additionally, Richard Lederer of Summoning done guest vocals for this album.
The band's third album, Der Untergang Von Trisona, was released in 1999 and received praise from the media for its bombastic appeal and relentless energy apparent on each track. Its neodark classic style, boasting of medieval influences, also caught the attention of Liv Kristine (Leaves Eyes, ex Theatre of Tragedy) and Alexander Krull (Atrocity), whose enthusiasm can be heard on the album, as both of them contribruted vocally to this work.
WeltenBrand released In Gottes Oder Des Teufels Namen in 2002. The album concentrated on clear vocal arrangements and straightforward compositions without losing the band's uniqueness. While each WeltenBrand album presents a different perspective of their sound, they do share a common thread. The lyrics always stem from Liechtensteins myths and legends as told by Dr. Otto Seger.
Following the disbandment of M.O.S. Records Ltd., WeltenBrand signed to Napalm Records in fall 2002 and began working on their fifth album, The End of the Wizard, released in February 2006. The tracks on this work continued to draw upon the magical uniqueness of songwriter Oliver Falks' compositions, while becoming more appealing to the masses. The End Of The Wizard promises to deliver an enchanting journey into the mythical world of Liechtenstein's myriad legends and sagas.
In spring 2005 two new members joined the band, Adrian Büchel (drums) and Christian Sele (bass guitar). At the end of 2005, Steiner left the band and was replaced by the female vocalist Dina Falk (former of Zambelli). Weltenbrand's fifth album The End of the Wizard, was released in August 2006.
In July 2007, male vocalist Wenaweser was replaced by the female vocalist Manja Wagner (former of Gückel). Currently,[when?] the band is working on a sixth album.

Napalm Death are an English grindcore band formed in Meriden, West Midlands in 1981. While none of its original members remain in the group since December 1986, the lineup of vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway, bassist Shane Embury, guitarist Mitch Harris and drummer Danny Herrera has remained consistent of the band's career since 1992's Utopia Banished, although, from 1989 to 2004, Napalm Death were a five-piece band after they added Jesse Pintado as the replacement of one-time guitarist Bill Steer; following Pintado's departure, the band reverted to a four-piece rather than replace him.
Summoning is an Austrian black metal band based in Vienna, Austria. Since their formation in 1993 they have released eight albums and two EPs on Napalm Records. Their lyrics make extensive use of J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth writings and mythology. Since 1995, their lineup has had a consistent lineup of musicians Silenius and Protector. The band has never performed live and has consistently maintained that they have no interest in ever doing so. Their latest album "With Doom We Come" was released on January 5, 2018.
L'Âme Immortelle is an Austrian darkwave duo. Many of L'Âme Immortelle's songs feature melancholy or lovelorn lyrics in German or English, and juxtaposed harsh male and emotional female vocals. In 2004 they switched label to the now defunct Supersonic Records and their work moved away from the band's electronic roots to the heavier Neue Deutsche Härte genre. In 2008 they went back to their former label Trisol and they returned to their musical roots.

From Enslavement to Obliteration is the second studio album by grindcore band Napalm Death, released in 1988. Elis was a gothic metal band from Liechtenstein, formed by Sabine Dünser and Pete Streit in 2003 after the split of Erben der Schöpfung in 2002. The band temporarily split up in February 2012 after lead singer Simone Christinat's departure. However, a month later, the band began doing a search for Christinat's replacement and the search was successful. Elis has since "disbanded" in order to form a new group called Zirkonium, with Swiss singer Kathrin Schlumpf as their lead vocalist.

Kohllapse is a gothic-doom metal band from Canberra, Australia, formed in the early 1990s. They were one of the better-known Christian gothic metal bands active in the 1990s, and was closely followed by the newsportals of the scene throughout the band's career. While Kohllapse released its only two albums independently, their catalogue was distributed widely through Nuclear Blast USA and Blast Beats distribution. The band is notable for its innovative music, which was said to be ahead of its time, that combines darkwave and progressive doom metal, and the fact that they became significantly well known in both secular and Christian metal scenes. Distant Mind Alternative was their most popular and critically acclaimed album, and has been re-issued by Soundmass in 2005.
