Bleeding Cool described her as being "embedded into British comic books" and having a "forte" for writing teenage relationships in 2019.

Hibiki's Magic, subtitled a continental chronicle in the original version, is a Japanese manga series written by Jun Maeda and illustrated by Rei Izumi. The story centers on a young girl named Hibiki who is the apprentice to a very skilled wizard named Shirotsuki. Hibiki does not have much skill with magic, and the only thing she is really good at is making tea. After an accident where her teacher nearly dies, Hibiki comes to stay at a famous magic academy and works as a teacher herself.

Steady Beat is a manga-inspired comic by Rivkah. It tells the story of Leah, a sixteen-year-old girl who finds a love letter addressed to her older sister Sarai, from a girl called Jessica. It tells of how Leah learns to accept her sister's homosexuality. Leah realises how lonely she has become and ends up falling in love with a Jewish boy who has two fathers, thus realising how difficult homosexuality can be to understand in society.

Haunted House is a comedy horror manga written and illustrated by Mitsukazu Mihara. Known for her short stories and characters dressed in the Gothic Lolita fashion, Mihara continued her use of death-themed material in Haunted House, a volume of one-shot chapters focusing on the teenage protagonist's attempts to find and keep a girlfriend despite his gothic family. Shodensha published Haunted House in Japan on October 8, 2002.
"Nick's World" is a twelve-page comic book story featured in the second issue of Marvel Knights: Double Shot written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Manuel Gutiérrez. The story concerns a young spy who tries to trick Nick Fury. The story was originally intended to be a part of a much longer series but after the follow-up series proposal was ignored by Marvel, Morrison incorporated much of the psychedelic super-spy material into their Vertigo title The Filth.
