Wesley Euley (born 10 October 1979) is a South African cricketer. He played in nine first-class, twenty List A, and seven Twenty20 matches from 2003 to 2007. [1]

John Wesley Harding is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on December 27, 1967, by Columbia Records. Produced by Bob Johnston, the album marked Dylan's return to semi-acoustic instrumentation and folk-influenced songwriting after three albums of lyrically abstract, blues-indebted rock music. John Wesley Harding shares many stylistic threads with, and was recorded around the same time as, the prolific series of home recording sessions with The Band, partly released in 1975 as The Basement Tapes, and released in complete form in 2014 as The Bootleg Series Vol. 11: The Basement Tapes Complete.

Christ the Lord Is Risen Today

"Christ the Lord Is Risen Today" is a Christian hymn associated with Easter. Most of the stanzas were written by Charles Wesley, and the hymn appeared under the title "Hymn for Easter Day" in Hymns and Sacred Poems by Charles and John Wesley in 1739. The hymn eventually became well known for the "Alleluia" sung as a melisma after each line, which was added by an unknown author, probably to fit the commonly used hymn tune of "Easter hymn". It remains a traditional processional hymn on Easter Sunday.

John William Fletcher

John William Fletcher, English divine, was born at Nyon in Switzerland. Of French Huguenot stock, his given name was actually Jean Guillaume de la Fléchère. Fletcher was a contemporary of John Wesley, a key interpreter of Wesleyan theology in the 18th century, and one of Methodism's first great theologians. Fletcher was renowned in Britain for his piety and generosity; when asked if he had any needs, he responded, "...I want nothing but more grace."

The plainly spoken ballad is the longest song on John Wesley Harding, without chorus, bridge, or a refrain to vary its structure. Like the rest of the album, the instrumentation is very sparse. It was recorded on October 17, 1967 in Studio A in Nashville in one take. The song was the inspiration for name of the band Judas Priest. It was covered by Jerry Garcia and David Grisman on their album Been All Around This World.

"Doing It to Death", also known as "Gonna Have a Funky Good Time", is a funk song recorded by The J.B.'s featuring James Brown. A 10-minute, two-part version of "Doing It to Death" was included on a J.B.'s album of the same name. The complete, unedited and nearly 13-minute-long original recording of the song was first issued on the 1995 J.B.'s compilation Funky Good Time: The Anthology.
