West Bromwich Dartmouth Cricket Club is an amateur cricket club in West Bromwich, West Midlands, England. [1] Founded in 1834 it is a founder member of the Birmingham & District Cricket league. Its First XI currently plays in the Premier Division, and its Second XI in the First Division. The Third XI play in the First Division of the Staffordshire Clubs Cricket Championship and the Fourth XI in the Fourth Division. The First XI is captained by former Gloucestershire batsman Kadeer Ali, brother of England international Moeen Ali.

The unusual name "Dartmouth" comes from the original ground residing in the estate of the Earl of DartmouthSandwell Hall. They now play their home games at Sandwell Park, West Bromwich (also within the Earl's old estate), next to Sandwell Park Golf Club and almost opposite The Hawthorns, home to football team, West Bromwich Albion.

They were runners-up to fellow Birmingham League team Old Hill, in the 1993 national club knockout cup final.

Anthony Brown is an English former footballer who played as a wing half and an inside forward. He was often referred to by his nickname Bomber or Bomber Brown and was known for his spectacular goals. He joined West Bromwich Albion as a youth in 1961 and turned professional in 1963. In the late 1960s and early 1970s Brown was part of an Albion team that built a reputation as a successful cup side, winning the 1966 Football League Cup Final and the 1968 FA Cup Final and finishing as runners-up in the League Cup in 1967 and 1970. He was the top scorer in Division One in 1970–71 and received his only England cap at the end of that season.

Sandwell Hall was a mansion house in the county of West Midlands, England, about 1 mile (1.6 km) east of West Bromwich. The site is within Sandwell Valley Country Park. It was built in 1711 for William Legge, 1st Earl of Dartmouth, and demolished in 1928.
