Westmoorings is a residential area in the region of Diego Martin on the island Trinidad, west of Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago. This suburb consists of mainly lower middle class to upper-class families and is generally known throughout the country for its upscale housing and expatriate population. This area mainly consists of small apartments and large upscale houses. It also has a few offshore moorings, a mall (The Falls at Westmall), a government college (St. Anthony's College), the International School of Port of Spain, and a private primary school, Dunross Preparatory School. It is bordering the sea and Diego Martin river.

San Fernando, officially the City of San Fernando, is the most populous city and second most populous municipality in Trinidad and Tobago, after Chaguanas. Dr. Jean Ramjohn-Richards is a Trinidadian doctor and the former First Lady of Trinidad and Tobago from 2003 until 2013. She was born in San Fernando and was educated at Naparima Girls' High School and Naparima College before attending medical school in Ireland. She is married to former President George Maxwell Richards and has two children. She is a cousin of former President Noor Hassanali and Olympian Manny Ramjohn.

The Northern Range is the range of tall hills across north Trinidad, the major island in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The hills range from the Chaguaramas peninsula on the west coast to Toco in the east. The Northern Range covers approximately twenty-five percent of the land area of Trinidad.
Diego Martin is a town and is the urban commercial center and capital of the Diego Martin region in Trinidad and Tobago. Its location in the region is just on the south eastern border, west of the capital city of Port of Spain and east of the town of Carenage. Diego Martin town in the Northern Range was once filled with a number of small valleys but is now a densely populated area. It was named after a Spanish explorer Don Diego Martín. The area was settled by French planters and their slaves in the 1780s. Port of Spain's last major municipal expansion occurred in 1938, when the St. James district north of Woodbrook and west of St. Clair was incorporated into the city limits. In the late 19th century, Indian indentured labourers on nearby sugar estates established houses here, and St. James gradually became the centre of Port of Spain's Indian population, with many streets named after cities and districts in British India. Valsayn is a town in Trinidad and Tobago. It is located along the East–West Corridor in northern Trinidad between the Eastern Main Road, Uriah Butler Highway, Churchill–Roosevelt Highway and Curepe. Valsayn consists of a small number of luxury residential communities divided between Valsayn-North and Valsayn-South, as well as settlements on the outskirts on the southern side of the highway, such as Bamboo Settlement on the West and Spring Village on the East. It is one of the most expensive residential areas on the island. Among its inhabitants are political figures, businessmen and foreign investors. The Valpark Shopping Plaza is one of the oldest shopping malls in Trinidad and Tobago.
Dibe is a village in north Trinidad located northwest of downtown Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The village is home to the poor and the rich, who respectively live on the surrounding hills and meadows, which has been described as living between a rock and a hard place. Upper Dibe, better known as “Cripple Creek” or ‘’’the Creek”’, has had a dark history with incessant gang warfare for over three decades.
