The International School of Port of Spain is an international school in Westmoorings, Trinidad and Tobago. It is a private, co-educational day school offering prekindergarten through grade 12 classes. The school opened in September 1994.
The school has around 445 students.[ date missing ] ISPS students have frequented the most prestigious universities in England, Canada and the United States. At the beginning of the 2022–23 school year, enrollment was 245. Of the total, 55 were U.S. citizens, 109 were host-country nationals and 81 were third-country nationals. [1]
The school is governed by a Board of Directors with seven primary members, each of whom has an alternate. Six of the directors are elected from the Parent-Teacher Organization and eight are representatives of major corporate sponsors of the school, including the U.S. Embassy. The school is operated with the consent of the government of Trinidad and Tobago.
In the 2022–23 school year, there were 62 total staff, comprising 45 teachers, 7 of whom are U.S. citizens, 32 are host country nationals and 6 are third-country nationals. [1]
The International School of Port of Spain (ISPS) is an academic college-preparatory school located west of the capital city of Port of Spain in Westmoorings. The school offers a curriculum that includes Spanish as a foreign language from grade 2. All students also participate in art, music, physical education, drama, health and computer studies. [1]
The school is structured into separate elementary, middle, and high schools. Since August 1997, ISPS has been offering Advanced Placement courses. Additionally, there is a program meant for students with mild learning difficulties. The school holds accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. [1]
ISPS operates on a purpose-built campus that was established in May 1999 on reclaimed land. The campus features various instructional spaces, including a multi-purpose hall, cafeteria, three computer labs, four science labs, two art rooms and a library/media center. With 30 classrooms and a fully air-conditioned gymnasium, the campus also provides athletic fields, asphalt play yards, a sandy playground, and enclosed activity areas. [1]

Naparima College is a public secondary school for boys in Trinidad and Tobago. Located in San Fernando, the school was founded in 1894 but received official recognition in 1900. It was established by Dr. Kenneth J. Grant, a Canadian Presbyterian missionary working among the Indian population in Trinidad. The school was one of the first to educate Indo-Trinidadians and played an important and crucial role in the development of an Indo-Trinidadian and Tobagonian professional class. Naparima is derived from the Arawak word (A) naparima, meaning ‘large water’, or from Nabarima, Warao, for ‘Father of the waves.’
Couva is a town in west-central Trinidad, south of Port of Spain and Chaguanas and north of San Fernando and Point Fortin. It is the capital and main urban centre of Couva–Tabaquite–Talparo, and the Greater Couva area includes the Point Lisas industrial estate and the port of Point Lisas. It is one of the fastest-growing towns in the country. Couva's southern boundary is at the village of California and Point Lisas, and to the north Couva stretches to McBean. To the east of Couva is Preysal. To the west of Couva is the road to Waterloo and Carli Bay, which are located on the Gulf of Paria. Couva was part of the Caroni County. Couva is considered a major power base for the United National Congress, whose headquarters was previously located here.

The International School of Ouagadougou is an English-language using international school in Zogona, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, established in 1976. The school is independent and teaches students from prekindergarten to Grade 12. In 2019 to 2020 there were 180 students. The school was created to cater for students from the international community but host-country students are also accepted.

The International School of Phnom Penh (ISPP) is an international school located at the Mean Chey district in the city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Around 900 students were enrolled for the year of 2024 who represent 50 countries. This makes it a well diversified school which introduces a good culture mix for the students.

Debe Secondary School is a co-educational public prestigious high school situated in Debe, South Trinidad. It was among the first ten schools established in 2000 under the SEMP, a project initiated by the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with the aim to modernize and reform the secondary education system, including improving access to educational opportunities for all children in Trinidad and Tobago. Initially a 5-year secondary school, its academic success within its first five years led to the introduction of CAPE sixth form classes, thereby extending its offerings from forms 1 to 6.
Westmoorings is a residential area in the region of Diego Martin on the island Trinidad, west of Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago. This suburb consists of mainly lower middle class to upper-class families and is generally known throughout the country for its upscale housing and expatriate population. This area mainly consists of small apartments and large upscale houses. It also has a few offshore moorings, a mall, a government college, the International School of Port of Spain, and a private primary school, Dunross Preparatory School. It is bordering the sea and Diego Martin river.

Westmoore High School is an American four-year public high school located in south Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The school was founded in 1988 and serves the ninth through the twelfth grades as part of the Moore Public School District. The University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) is a private university owned and operated by the Caribbean Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
