It is a triangular shaped campus bordered by the houses on Charter Avenue and by Gibbet Hill Road, located to the north of the main campus. It contains several halls of residence, a restaurant/cafe, laundrette, a small Costcutter shop, and other buildings used for teaching purposes. All the buildings are set amongst a leafy backdrop of trees which makes the Westwood campus very picturesque in summer. To the west of the campus is a sports centre with many facilities including several pitches, a running track, and a multi-purpose hall. It takes roughly 15 minutes to walk from Westwood to the centre of the main campus at a brisk pace. Many of the buildings are closer and can be reached in approximately 10 minutes at a brisk pace. It takes a little under 5 minutes to walk to Tesco and the nearby Cannon Park shopping centre.
The site was originally the Coventry College of Education until its merger with the University in the mid-seventies.
The eight Halls of Residence have large rooms and so tend to be used by the admissions department at the start of the year to house students who have to share, should a shortage of rooms on campus arise. As of 2007 washing machines and dryers were installed in all the Westwood blocks. Previously all of the Westwood campus were sharing 4 machines in a separate washing building. Former lead singer of The Police, Sting, spent one term at Coventry College of Education, where he stayed in Hampton block. It was falsely claimed for many years that he wrote some of The Police's hit singles while living in Hampton, including Every Breath You Take and Roxanne.

The University of Warwick is a public research university on the outskirts of Coventry between the West Midlands and Warwickshire, England. The university was founded in 1965 as part of a government initiative to expand higher education. The Warwick Business School was established in 1967, the Warwick Law School in 1968, Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) in 1980, and Warwick Medical School in 2000. Warwick incorporated Coventry College of Education in 1979 and Horticulture Research International in 2004.

Brinsford Lodge was a hall of residence for The Polytechnic, Wolverhampton from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s. Kingsway Campus Auckland Park, also known as APK, is the largest and most populated of the four campuses of the University of Johannesburg. It is also the seat of the administration and governance body of the university. The campus was formerly the only educational campus of the Rand Afrikaans University. The campus gets its name from a major Johannesburg road, Kingsway Avenue, that runs along the north-east side of the campus. The roads that form the boundary of the campus are (clock-wise) University Road, Ditton Avenue, Ripley Road, Hampton Avenue, Studente Avenue, Akademie Road and Perth Road. Although the official name of the campus implies that it is in Auckland Park, it actually falls just out of that suburb by one street. It is technically in the suburb of Rossmore with the first-year parking lot bordering the suburb of Melville, Gauteng.
Birkbeck Court is the oldest and largest student residence at University of Strathclyde, and was constructed between 1972 and 1974. It is situated on Cathedral Street, which is at the very centre of Glasgow and the university campus. The halls are made of 16 blocks, each block containing 4 flats which is residence to 6 students. The students have a room to themselves which is also their study area. Unlike a few of the Halls of Residence, Birkbeck court does not have en-suite facilities. There is a shower room with two sinks and a separate toilet room which also contains a sink.
Greygarth Hall is a catered inter-university hall of residence for men, situated in Victoria Park, south Manchester, England. It is one of the halls on the "Rusholme campus" within 3 minutes walk of the famous Curry Mile. Greygarth Hall was founded in 1961, and in 2010-11 was extensively refurbished. The hall is a grade II listed building and was a University of Manchester Licensed Hall from 1965 until the university abolished the 'licensed' state in the early 2000s.
The National Automotive Innovation Centre (NAIC), sometimes referred to as the National Automotive Innovation Campus, is a building at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. It is a joint venture between the University's WMG, Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors. The building was opened by HRH The Prince of Wales on 18 February 2020.
