Yau Tsim Mong District is one of 18 districts of Hong Kong, located on the western part of Kowloon Peninsula. It is the core urban area of Kowloon. The district has the second highest population density of all districts, at 49,115/km². The 2016 By-Census recorded the total population of Yau Tsim Mong District at 342,970.
Kowloon City District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is located in the city of Kowloon. It had a population of 381,352 in 2001, and increased to 418,732 in 2016. The district has the third most educated residents while its residents enjoy the highest income in Kowloon. It borders all the other districts in Kowloon, with Kwun Tong district to the east, Wong Tai Sin district to its northeast, Sham Shui Po district to its northwest, and Yau Tsim Mong district to its southwest.

It was established in 1998 for the first SAR Legislative Council election and was abolished under the 2021 overhaul of the Hong Kong electoral system. In the 2016 Legislative Council election, it elected five members of the Legislative Council using the Hare quota of party-list proportional representation. The constituency corresponded to the today's districts of Wong Tai Sin and Kwun Tong.

Hung Hom Estate is a public housing estate in Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The estate is built on a hill along Dyer Avenue and next to Whampoa Estate, Whampoa Garden and MTR Whampoa station. It now consists of five residential buildings completed in two stages in 1999 and 2011 respectively.
Mei Tung Estate is a public housing estate located at the south of Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon, Hong Kong opposite Kowloon Walled City Park. It consists of 2 Old Slab-typed blocks, each building is 8-storey, providing over 600 flats. Although the estate is near Kowloon City, it belongs to Wong Tai Sin District rather than Kowloon City District because it is located at the north of Tung Tau Tsuen Road, the boundary between two districts. A third block opened in 2010, and a fourth opened in 2014.
