House of Pain was an American hip-hop trio that released three albums in the 1990s. The group consisted of DJ Lethal, Danny Boy, and Everlast. The group's 1992 hit single "Jump Around" reached number 3 in their native United States of America, number 6 in Ireland and number 8 in the United Kingdom. The group broke up in 1996.

Following several collaborations and guest appearances, she launched her solo career in 1997 with her debut album Supa Dupa Fly, which spawned the top 20 single "Sock It 2 Me". Grandmasters is a collaborative studio album by American Los Angeles-based record producer DJ Muggs and New York-based rapper GZA. It was released on October 25, 2005 via Angeles Records, serving as Muggs' first in his "DJ Muggs vs." series and GZA's fifth album. Produced entirely by Muggs, it features fellow Wu-Tang Clan members and affiliates Raekwon, RZA, Masta Killa and Prodigal Sunn, as well as Cypress Hill's Sen Dog. The project has a theme of chess as can be seen by the track names. Introductions featuring chess strategy, including instruction for a chess opening using algebraic notation, are within the album. The album was also released in 'Instrumentals' and 'Remix' versions. The latter containing a bonus DVD featuring world tour and studio footage.
Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta LP is the sixth solo studio album by American rapper and record producer Daz Dillinger. It was released on January 25, 2005 through Gangsta Advisory Recordingz. Production was handled by Daz himself, Ivan Johnson, Fredwreck and Soopafly. It features guest appearances from Shelly, Andrea Gray, George Clinton, Nate Dogg and Shorty B. The album did not reach the Billboard 200, however it peaked at number 82 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 28 on the Independent Albums charts in the United States.

In the early 2000s, Martinez started his own label, Camobear Records, to which fellow rap artist Moka Only is signed. Will Rap for Food is the debut album by southern hip hop group CunninLynguists, at the time only consisting of Deacon the Villain and Kno. It was released October 2001 on Urban Acres Entertainment. The album is mostly produced by Kno, with contributions from Celph Titled and Deacon the Villain, respectively, on the singles "So Live!" and "616 Rewind", which was released via Buds Distribution. Will Rap for Food was re-issued in 2005 by Freschest Records.

Dominick Antron Wickliffe, better known by his stage names Crooked I and Kxng Crooked, is an American rapper from Long Beach, California. He is best known as a former member of the hip hop supergroup Slaughterhouse with other members Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5'9". He is CEO of his own record labels, Dynasty Entertainment and C.O.B. Digital as well as Senior Vice President of Treacherous Records. Before starting his own label, he was also signed to Virgin Records and Death Row Records. He is currently one half of the rap duo Crook and Joell with his former Slaughterhouse bandmate, Joell Ortiz. Together, they released three studio albums.
Death Rap is the fifth solo studio album by American rapper and record producer Necro. It was released on September 11, 2007 via Psycho+Logical-Records. It was the first studio album Necro released since signing with Koch Distribution in July 2007. As the title suggests, the album is Necro's return to emphasis on gore and violence, rather than sex, such as in his 2005 album The Sexorcist. Pre-orders of the album were shipped with a limited edition bonus DVD that contained an unreleased music video and six live performances. Like his last album, Necro chose not to place a parental advisory sticker on the cover.
