The White Guard Volunteers [2] (WG) is an Volunteers organization of Muslim Youth League - IUML volunteer. The scheme of humanitarian named Medi Chain [4] is being carried out by involving the volunteers at zonal and district levels. White Guard team with emergency medicine [7] for ex-pats Patients can send written or voice clips including their name, age, gender (female/male/transgender), and medical history. They will check the patient information and then talk to the expert doctors if necessary and reply to the patients. About 50 doctors specializing in various fields are collaborating with this project. The services of doctors in all fields such as General Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Ortho, ENT, and Ophthalmology are also available. In addition, the services of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic doctors have been made available [10]

On 8 August 2019, due to heavy rainfall in the monsoon season, severe flood affected Kerala. As a security measure in the prevailing situation of heavy rains, the India Meteorological Department had issued a red alert in the 9 districts in Northern and Central Kerala, orange alert in 3 districts of Central Kerala, and yellow alert in the 2 districts of southern Kerala. Thousands of people have been evacuated to safer places and relief camps. A total of 121 people have died due to rain-related incidents as of 19 August 2019.
