Rockwall County is a county in the U.S. state of Texas. At 149 square miles, Rockwall County has the smallest area of any Texas county. Per the 2020 Census, its population was 107,819. Its county seat is Rockwall. The county and city are named for a wall-like subterranean rock formation that runs throughout the county.

Ernest Hawkins Field at Memorial Stadium is an athletic stadium located in Commerce, Texas. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Texas A&M University–Commerce Lions football team, Texas A&M-Commerce Men's and Women's Track and Field, and the Commerce High School Tigers Football team of the Commerce Independent School District. Prior to 1996, the stadium was named "East Texas State Memorial Stadium, and until the end of the 2017 season, it was known as Texas A&M-Commerce Memorial Stadium." The stadium was built in honor of the 78 Texas A&M-Commerce alums and students who fought and died during World War II. The stadium was renamed Ernest Hawkins Field at Memorial Stadium was formally changed in November 2017 in honor of longtime Lion football coach Ernest Hawkins.

Eastern Hills High School is a four-year public high school in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The school is educating students in grades 9–12, as part of the Fort Worth Independent School District. In an historical footnote, the band from the school played "Hail to the Chief" during President John F. Kennedy's visit to Dallas–Fort Worth in November 1963. EHHS is also the only school in the world with two Pulitizer Prize-winning photographers as alums -- "Skeeter" Hagler and Michael Ainsworth. The school has been recognized by the National Football League as part of its 50th Anniversary Super Bowl High School Honor Roll for serving as the home school for two former Super Bowl Players - Uwe von Schamann and Byron Chamberlain - as well as for Doug Hart, who played for the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowls I and II following graduation from EHHS's predecessor, Handley High School.

The current building opened in the fall of 2006, and is located in the southwestern part of Hunt County. The school serves students from Collin County, Hunt County, and Rockwall County. In 2011, the school was rated "Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. The school garnered national attention when a student wore a Confederate flag as a cape on campus, April 23, 2019; subsequently, "white power" was shouted at a black television reporter from a vehicle leaving the school.
W.W. Thorne Stadium, an American football and soccer venue, is the home stadium of the Aldine Independent School District's five varsity high school football teams - the Aldine Mustangs, Davis Falcons, Eisenhower Eagles, MacArthur Generals and Nimitz Cougars of District 18-6A, as well as for each schools' varsity boys and girls soccer teams.
