William Michael Brook (born 9 November 2003) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Shrewsbury Town. [2]
Born in Pontefract, [3] Brook began his career at Leeds United, where he turned professional in July 2022, [4] before moving to Nottingham Forest in summer 2023. [5] [6] He had a loan spell at Farsley Celtic in the second half of the 2024–25 season. [3] Brook signed for Leamington in August 2025. [7] He moved to Shrewsbury Town later that month. [8] [9] Head coach Michael Appleton said that Brook had been signed to compete with Elyh Harrison for the starting spot. [10] He made his debut in the next game, a 3–1 victory away at Barnet. [11] [12] Brook credited his non-league experience for helping him challenge for the first-team place, [13] and he kept his first clean sheet in his fourth appearance for the club. [14]
