Will Saul (born 28 December 1978 in Glastonbury, England) is a British DJ, music producer, and the founder of Simple Records and Aus Music. [1]
Will Saul started his first record label, Simple Records, in 2003, after having worked at Sony International’s A&R department for two years. He learned about house and techno while at Koobla Records and Phonica. Simple Records releases house music by artists such as Saul, Sideshow, Vector Lovers, Marc Romboy, and Motorcitysoul. [2]
February 2005 saw the release of Simple One, a compilation that encapsulated the label's sound – edgy and deep but tuneful and organic. In the early summer of the same year, Saul followed with the release of his debut artist album Space Between, a soulful and melodic journey geared towards home listening rather than the dance floor.
Saul started the record label Aus Music in 2006 with Sideshow (Fink on Ninja Tune). [3] Aus Music explores the more experimental side of house, techno, dub, and downtempo, with releases from cutting-edge artists such as Motorcitysoul, Lee Jones, Martyn, Appleblim, Ramadanman, Joy Orbison, Shur-I-Kan and Midland. Additionally, Saul has operated as an A&R producer. In 2009, Saul released a three-disc contribution to the EQ Recordings Balance series. [5] Saul was also a resident at the London club The End for many years before it closed in January 2009. [6] He contributed to BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix series on 27 April 2013. [7]
Since 2015, Saul has served as A&R for !K7's DJ-Kicks series, beginning with Actress' entry to the series in May, and continuing with entries by DJ Koze, Seth Troxler, Moodymann, Dam-Funk, Jackmaster, Marcel Dettmann, and Daniel Avery that received praise from critics and audiences. [8]
Electroclash is a genre of popular music that fuses 1980s electro, new wave and synth-pop with 1990s techno, retro-style electropop and electronic dance music. It emerged in the late 1990s and was pioneered by and associated with acts such as I-F, DJ Hell, Miss Kittin and The Hacker, and Fischerspooner.
FFRR Records is a dance music label founded as a subsidiary of London Records in 1986, with A&R run by the British DJ Pete Tong. Originally a part of London Records' label roster, FFRR is currently a sublabel of Parlophone, a division of Warner Music Group. Its activities were mostly halted in the early 2000s, until the label was revived in 2011. Its catalog was sold off in 2017, but the label was revived a second time in 2021, this time with a new identity.

!K7 Music is a music company based in Berlin, Germany that focuses mostly on electronic music. The name is an abbreviation of the company's original Berlin address, Kaiserdamm 7. !K7 has since opened branch offices in New York City and London. It has five independent imprints as part of the K7 Label Group: !K7 Records, 7K!, Strut, Soul Bank and Eternal Source Of Light. K7 also runs successful Label Services and Synch and Licensing departments.

Sven Väth is a German DJ and electronic music producer. He is a three-time DJ Awards winner, and his career in electronic music spans over 30 years. The single "Electrica Salsa" with OFF launched his career in 1986. Referred to as "Papa Sven" by his fans, Sven Väth has made his mark in the music community by being one of Germany's pop stars in the nineties, running two night clubs in Germany, and starting his own company Cocoon, which encompasses a booking agency, record label, and a branch for events. He is recognized for cultivating the underground electronic music scene not just in Germany but in Ibiza as well, with his own night at Amnesia for eighteen years and after-parties at creative locations around the island. Sven Väth is a major proponent of vinyl, using only two decks and a mixer for his extensive DJ sets, his longest set having been 30 hours.
Danny Howells is an English producer and DJ. His music is often described as progressive house, though he prefers to associate more with tech house and is sometimes described simply as "deepsexyfuturistictechfunkouse". At performances, he is well known to interact personally with the audience. Howells has mixed several albums for Global Underground in addition to his Nocturnal Frequencies series. Howells is also a member of the duo Science Department with Dick Trevor, which has produced the singles "Breathe" and "Persuasion"/"Repercussion" as well as remixes for artists such as BT. From 2008 he has run his own record label, Dig Deeper - named after his long running club night.
Phillip Krokidis, known professionally as Phil K, was an Australian electronic music DJ and record producer from Melbourne. He was a member of the "Aussie breaks" music scene which also includes other Melbourne DJs such as Nubreed and Andy Page. In addition to DJing, Phil K also produced alongside Habersham and Dave Preston in The Operators and was also a member of Hi-Fi Bugs and Lostep. He was known primarily for his DJing of breakbeat music, but often weaved in other genres such as ambient, deep house, and techno and did not pigeonhole himself with a particular genre.
