William N. Vander Loop (born December 6,1932,in Little Chute,Wisconsin), [1] During the Korean War,he served in the United States Army. He died at home on December 28,2021. [2] He was married with five children. [3] was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly for the 5th District.
Vander Loop was first elected to the Assembly in 1990. Additionally,he was a Kaukauna,Wisconsin,alderman from 1983 to 1991. He was a Democrat.

Rush Medical College is the medical school of Rush University,located in the Illinois Medical District,about 3 km west of the Loop in Chicago. Offering a full-time Doctor of Medicine program,the school was chartered in 1837,and today is affiliated primarily with Rush University Medical Center,and nearby John H. The 1877 Wisconsin gubernatorial election was held on November 6,1877. Under internal party pressure,incumbent Republican Governor Harrison Ludington,who had barely won the 1875 election,was pressured to not seek a second term. Former State Assembly Speaker William E. Smith,a longtime figure in Wisconsin politics,was selected as the Republican nominee,and Milwaukee County Municipal Judge Thomas A. Mallory won a protracted battle for the nomination at the Democratic convention. Smith and Mallory were joined in the general election by Greenback nominee Edward Phelps Allis. Ultimately,though the Republican vote share shrunk relative to 1875,the Democratic vote share shrunk more,and Smith won a larger victory than Ludington did,though only with a 44% plurality.
Joseph Warren Beardsley was an American physician,politician,and Wisconsin pioneer. He served as the 14th speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly and represented Pierce County. In historical documents,his name is commonly abbreviated J. W. Beardsley. The 1862 Wisconsin legislative manual and later works that relied on that source inaccurately listed his first name as "James".
