William Marion Wilson (born October 4,1958) is the president of Oral Roberts University [1] in Tulsa,Oklahoma. He was previously the vice chairman for ORU board of trustees. [2]
Wilson was born in Owensboro,Kentucky [3] and attended Daviess County High School. He then attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green,Kentucky,where he earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education. [3] Wilson also attended the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland,Tennessee,where he earned his Master of Arts and Doctor of Ministry degrees. [2]
In 2006,Wilson served as the executive officer for the Azusa Street Centennial in Los Angeles,California,which drew more than 50,000 people from 106 nations. [4] He also worked the Awakening American Alliance to create national ecumenical coalitions with more than 250 denominations and parachurch ministries. [4] [5]
Wilson joined the ORU board of trustees in 2008. He was announced as the fourth president of Oral Roberts University on January 31,2013 [6] and began his term on June 1,2013. [7] Since taking this post,he has launched the “Whole Leaders for the Whole World”campaign which has raised money for scholarships,as well as overseeing building work for a new library,nursing and engineering complex and athletic centres. Wilson has worked with the Church of God of Prophecy and the Church of God. [9]
Wilson has also served as the executive director of the International Center for Spiritual Renewal in Cleveland,Tennessee and the chair and executive director of the Empowered 21 Initiative. In addition,he has served on boards and committees for Mission America Coalition (Lausanne,USA) Facilitation Committee,the Pentecostal World Fellowship advisory board,and the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem.
In 2022 he was chosen to lead the Pentecostal World Fellowship;this was his second term as chair. [10]

Granville Oral Roberts was an American Charismatic Christian televangelist,who was one of the first to propagate Prosperity Gospel Theology. He was ordained in both the Pentecostal Holiness and United Methodist churches. He is considered one of the forerunners of the charismatic movement,and at the height of his career was one of the most recognized preachers in the US. He founded the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association and Oral Roberts University.

Harold Vinson Synan was an American historian,author,and alliance leader within the Pentecostal movement. Synan published a total of 25 books,a majority related to Holiness,Pentecostal,and Charismatic movements. He served as General Secretary of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church and later as Chair of the North American Renewal Service Committee from 1985 to 2001. From 1994 - 2006 he served as Dean of the School of Divinity at Regent University in Virginia Beach,Virginia. In 2016,Synan moved back to Tulsa,Oklahoma,to re-join the faculty of Oral Roberts University as Interim Dean of the College of Theology and Ministry,where he served for two years. Following that he served as Scholar in Residence at Oral Roberts University where he worked closely with William M. Wilson,the president of ORU,the World Pentecostal Fellowship,and Empowered21.
Mabee Center is a 10,154-seat multi-purpose arena,located on the campus of Oral Roberts University,in Tulsa,Oklahoma,United States. The building opened in 1972 and was designed by architect Frank Wallace,who designed most of the buildings on the ORU campus. It carries the name of Tulsa oilman John Mabee,whose foundation donated $1 million toward its construction.

The Oral Roberts–Tulsa basketball rivalry is a college basketball rivalry game between cross-town rivals,the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles. The two teams first played each other in 1974 and as of 2021 have played a total of 117 games. After the rivalry resumed in 2012,it was branded "PSO Mayor’s Cup" with Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) as its corporate sponsor.

Global Servants is an organization centered on missions and evangelism around the world. The House of Grace is a home for tribal girls threatened by sexual slavery in Chiang Rai City,Thailand. He also has a thirty-minute syndicated radio program titled Herald of Joy. Rutland is married to Alison Rutland and has three children.

Kenneth Franklin Trickey Sr. was an American basketball coach,best known for his two stints as the head coach for the men's basketball team at Oral Roberts University (ORU) in Tulsa,Oklahoma. He was especially remembered for ORU's high-scoring "run and gun" teams of the early 1970s,which helped the young,small school attain national attention and competitive success,including a spot in the Elite Eight in the 1974 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. After his death in 2012,the Tulsa World called him "one of the most influential and colorful characters in this state’s basketball history".
