William Wilson (born 1902) [3] was an English footballer who played for Portsmouth, Port Vale, Walsall, Stafford Rangers, Worcester City, Bristol Rovers, Willenhall, and Wellington Town.

Career

Wilson played for Seaham Harbour and Portsmouth, before moving north to join Port Vale in February 1921. [1] He only played two Second Division games before being released from The Old Recreation Ground at the end of the season. [1] He moved on to Walsall, Stafford Rangers, Worcester City, Bristol Rovers, Willenhall, and Wellington Town. [1]

Kenneth Beech is an English former footballer. A midfielder, he played for Port Vale between 1976 and 1981, picking up the club's Player of the Year award in 1980, also playing on loan at American club Cleveland Cobras in 1978. In 1981, he was sold to Walsall, before he moved on to Peterborough United two years later. He dropped into non-league football with Stafford Rangers in 1985, with whom he won the Conference League Cup, before he retired in 1988. He played 314 league games in the Football League, scoring 28 goals.

Thomas Butler was an English footballer who played as an inside-left. He played 60 league games in the English Football League, scoring 23 goals. He played for non-league Willenhall, before spending the 1921–22 season at Walsall. He joined Port Vale via Darlaston in December 1922. He broke his arm in a game on 3 November 1923, and died eight days later from a subsequent tetanus infection.
